The Carroll County Courthouse Area Streetscape Project consists of the demolition of the perimeter and interior concrete walks on the Courthouse grounds, new concrete walks, asphalt pavement patching, concrete curbs, pedestrian and exterior building lighting, electrical festival boxes, landscaping and other miscellaneous improvements. All work is to be in accordance with Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition.

A contract to furnish all labor, materials and other necessary equipment for Carpet/VCT Removal and Concrete Floor Finish at the Youth Detention Center.
Work is to include installation of approximately 57,800 LF of 8-inch, 4060 LF of 4-inch, 760 LF of 2-inch waterline with 3,200 LF of various sized directionally drilled creek/river crossings and other appurtenances, installation of a duplex pump station, two pressure reducing vaults and 104 service connections.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the abandonment of the existing two (2)-inch galvanized water main and the installation of four (4) domestic services at 10810 and 10812 Taylorsville Road and 3806 and 3900 Chenoweth Run Rd. The project also includes five (5) domestic service discontinues.

Construct a pavilion and replace existing sidewalks. The scope includes: construct pavilion, construct sidewalks, installation of new storm sewer and downspout collection pipe, installation of drop box inlets and yard drains.

The Beverly Blanton Group (AML) Reclamation Project consists of two sites. The first and most significant, the Beverly Blanton Drainage Site is located in western Johnson County, Kentucky, just south of Oil Springs. The site can be reached by taking Route 460 for approximately 5 ½ miles from Paintsville and taking a right turn onto Route 580. After approximately 1.1 miles, the Blanton residence is on the south side of the road at 1159 Caudill Fork.
Mine drainage at the site is saturating the house seat of the Blanton residence, has caused damage to the home, and is draining across the neighboring Caudill property.
Subdrain is planned to catch drainage behind the home as well as in the downslope to direct water away into Caudill Fork. A length of concrete gravity wall is proposed behind a portion of the the subdrain to hold back the slope behind the residence. Filter fabric is included for placement beneath the wall, and Class II/III behind the wall. Bid items for utility relocation, dense grade aggregate, roadway stone, geogrid, and hoe ram are included as may be necessary. Structure removal and replacement is included for the pool.
Multiple completely collapsed adits are within the project limit above the Blanton residence, but there is no sign of drainage from them and they are not intended to be a part of the project.
An earthwork bid item is included for placement of excavated material within the project area, across Menifee Road, where an existing trailer is to be removed by the owner.
The second site, the Fred and Kaye Hitchcock Drainage, is situated on the opposite side of Paintsville at Tutor Key. The site can be reached from the intersection of US 23 and KY 1428 near East Point by following KY 1428 through Paintsville to the intersection with KY 40 (Euclid Avenue) and turning right continuing on KY 40 for approximately another 1000 feet to a left turn onto KY 581. The residence is approximately 3.5 miles down KY 581, on the right. Mine water saturates the yard area, and a length of subdrain is planned to alleviate the problem. An existing ditch draining from an adit into the project area is to be cleaned out as necessary as directed by the ENGINEER. The adit itself is not a part of the project.
Neither of the project areas are located within a floodplain and therefore no Floodplain Permit will be needed. All other required permits, if any, will be obtained prior to construction activities.
Site preparation at the sites includes clearing and grubbing of vegetation, and disturbed areas will be revegetated using a general seeding method including agricultural limestone, fertilizer and mulch as required. Bituminous repair is also included as may be necessary at each site. For continued description, see Special Conditions.
The scope of work consists of a selective demo and Interior Fit up for a new Pizza Hut project located in Prestonsburg, KY. The project is located at 497 University Dr., Ste. C, Prestonsburg, KY 41653. All mechanical trades will be required as well as demolition, drywall, rough carpentry, tile, acoustic ceiling, and painting. Anticipated start date for this project is 10/22/12

Project includes general demolition and interior renovations to include gyp board walls and ceiling tile; interior painting; interior wood trims; new doors and frames; acousting ceilings; tin ceiling repair/paint; carpet and VCT and ceramic tile; minor plumbing and mechanical system modifications/duct cleaning; electrical modifications; electrical fixturesl exterior EFIS (dry-fit); aluminum storefront windows and entry door. Expose brick walls with clear sealer finish.
Construct a new 225 ft softball field at Constitution Park in Lexington, KY, including asphalt trail between new and existing field, all concrete work and parking lot reconstruction.

The work shall generally consist of the installation of approximately 9,490 LF six inch (6″) PVC C-900 DR18 water line, approximately 170 LF six inch (6″) ductile iron pipe, Bore and Case, Cut and case at certain areas, plus appurtenances and asphalt replacement.
The project is located near the intersection of Hurstbourne Parkway and Fegenbush Lane and consists of CIPP lining of 8 inch diameter (3,923 LF), 10 inch diameter (329 LF), 12 inch diameter (71 LF) sewers. Additional items include manhole epoxy coating (19 EA), chimney seals (152 EA), lateral tophats (67 EA) and other miscellaneous items.
This project will provide for the construction of the Perth/Clyde Assessment Project. This project will consist of approximately 8,762 L.F. of 8 and 10-inch sanitary sewer along with 3,075 LF of 4-inch property service connections, as well as all associated work as shown on the construction drawings.
