Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for The referenced project consists of the installation of 1,870 +/- linear feet of 12-inch DR-18 C900 PVC and 105 +/- linear feet of Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (restrained and non-restrained using traditional trench installation techniques); installation of 990 +/- linear feet of 8-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main (restrained and non-restrained using traditional trench installation techniques) and appurtenances and to restore the site. Also included with the project is the installation of 3 fire hydrants and the transfer, renewal, or relocation of 53 customer services.

A price contract for a portion of Louisville Metro Government’s need for Maintenance & Repair of the HVAC Systems (Tracer Summit) at Islands & Glacier Run Facilities ReBid for a
period of twelve (12) months.
The work consists of a 15,800 sf one-story Church. The building will have a Pre-Engineered Metal Building frame with PEMB panels and conventional exterior finishes (brick veneer, hardie siding) with PEMB roof panels. There will be a 3hr fire seperation wall on one side of the lobby seperating the sanctuary from the reminder of the building. Interior finishes will be paint on gypsum board.

The project consists of the development of approximately 30,878sf of site area to provide for a new permeable paver system parking lot. The project also includes new brick veneer site walls on reinforced concrete foundations, along with new raised masonry benches and planter areas with reinforced CMU core construction and brick/cut limestone veneer on reinforced concrete foundations. There will also be a new storage building construction with conventional 2x wood framing with asphalt shingle roofing, copper gutters and downspouts, brick veneer and reinforced concrete slab and foundations. New concrete and brick paver sidewalks and concrete curbing will be installed. A new electrical service shall be installed, along with site and perimeter wall lighting. The existing water line service will be recaptured to provide water to hydrants and to the new proposed fountain. The work shall also include all of the related site work for excavation, fill, layout, grading, temporary construction fencing and the job trailer, storm water drainage and walkways. The work will also include all landscaping, sod, mulch, trees and plantings.

The work includes the renovation of approximately 55,794 SF and the addition of 23,283 SF to Tates Creek Elementary School, originally built in 1963 with building additions in 1974 and 1988. Work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, removal and replacment of mechanical systems including installation of variable refrigerant volume systems, replacement of existing electrical systems, fire protection, fire alarm systems, interior finishes (walls, ceilings, floors and base), door hardware, site improvements and paving, replacement of kitchen equipment and the addition of 23,283 SF of new administrative area, media center and classrooms. The work effort will be executed in 4 principal phases beginning in June 2012 and ending December 2013 and will be occupied during the corse of work.
Construction will consist of approximately 1240 LF of 6″ PVC water line, 10 gate valves, 6 dry tap connections, 1 fire hydrant, 78 LF bores with steel encasement, 8 relocation and replacement of existing meters, and all necessary appurtenances.

The City intends to issue a contract for work to rehabilitate 18,200 feet of existing 8” sanitary sewer with Cured-In-Place Pipe, including cleaning and heavy cleaning, pre and post CCTV inspection, internal trimming of 6 protruding taps, internal reinstatement of 100 laterals, renewing 30 services by excavation with two-way cleanouts, complete 14 point repairs, install 2 new manholes on existing sewers, and replacing 144 feet of existing 4” sanitary sewer pipe with 8” Ductile Iron Pipe using open cut with two (2) new manholes, in Two Creeks area in Frankfort, Kentucky. The related specifications illustrate the proposed work. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals. Contractor shall be required to maintain flow during all aspects of the construction. The construction sites shall be restored to preconstruction site conditions. Costs for all work including site restoration shall be included in the various pay items.
The project provides for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 2358 linear feet of storm sewer, 906 linear feet of under drains, 155 tons of pavement leveling & wedging with overlay, 11 storm sewer manholes, 12 inlet structures, 540 square yards of conventional concrete sidewalk, 444 square yards of pervious concrete sidewalk, 827 linear feet of pervious concrete header curb, 790 linear feet of conventional concrete curb & gutter and related appurtenances of construction.
This project consists of removal (by others) of the existing floor finishes in their entirety and disposal of them off campus, prepare floor to receive new finishes. New finishes are to be provided and installed as per the attached specs and drawings. Wax shall also be included as per specs. Trades need for this job will be floor prep, installation, cleaning and waxing. Contractor shall be responsible for all field measurements and materials amounts. Contractor will bid based on the take-offs provided. Any differencses on take-off will be adjusted accordingly by the corresponding unit price, credit, or additional change order. Asbestos abatement and existing floor covering removal by WKU Contractor (ROMAC) during the week of July 7-13, 2012.

This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 8310 Westport RD., Louisville, KY 40222. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls, moveable partition, vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles. Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0″, typical bearing wall to be 10’-1″. The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The Work also includes a small blacktop parking area (1 space, accessible).
