To Furnish all labor, materials, and the performance of all work required for the Southside Elementary School, general construction, site work, mechanical, electrical, fire protections, and plumbing construction.
Bid Package 1 – General Construction: The College & Career Center site is located adjacent to the existing North Bullitt High School, Shepherdsville KY. The new building footprint is approximately 25,800sf and will include a series of Flexible Labs, an Allied Health Lab, Multi-Purpose Room (Gymnasium), Administrative Areas, TV Studio and a Warming Kitchen. The building envelope is masonry cmu/brick cavity wall, one façade of metal panel-rain-screen wall system, insulated storefront and curtainwall, typical steel deck and composite cementitious panels for other roof portions. The roofing is PVC. The structure is steel frame and masonry load bearing. The HVAC system is ground coupled geothermal with hydronic heat pumps and make-up air. The project will also include plumbing, electrical and technology systems. Site development will include typical excavation, grading, walks, parking and the on-site relocation of an existing baseball field.
Bid Package 2 – Technology Wiring: Will include voice/data horizontal cabling, backbone cabling, mounting equipment, supports, hardware, and equipment racks with associated wire management. This bid package will also include all UTP wiring required for Owner provided security cameras, wireless access points, projectors, and video displays to be connected to the data network. (concealed conduits, boxes, and pathways in walls for data devices, conduit sleeves, data conduit above ceilings, telecommunications backbone conduit and cable trays are part of Bid Package 1)
1. The expansion of an existing asphalt parking lot at the corner of Linden Walk and Rose lane that will provide a net increase of 10 parking spaces. Existing extruded asphalt curb shall be removed along the perimeter of the existing lot to be expanded. The expansion area is relatively flat and will be excavated as necessary for the proposed pavement section. The perimeter of the pavement expansion will be bounded by new concrete curb and the new parking spaced will be striped with while paint. The existing adjacent detention basin shall be excavated to accommodate the additional storm water runoff and all disturbed areas shall be sodded. A bid alternate to replace a section of concrete sidewalk is also included.
2. The re-surfacing of an existing asphalt parking lot at the corner of Linden Walk and Euclid Ave that will provide twenty parking spaces. The existing surface is rough with several low areas that need to be filled with compacted DGA prior to pavement with asphalt. Milling will be required around an existing catch basin and along the back of the sidewalk/entrance apron along Euclid to make new asphalt surface flush with adjacent surfaces. The new parking spaces will be striped with white paint. The edge of the parking lot toward Linden Walk will be dressed with topsoil and sodded to clean up an existing jagged edge of the parking lot.
The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consists of approximately 3500 LF o 3″ water main, and appurtenances and one water hauling station, and twelve (12) 1000 gallon buried cisterns with pumps and all related appurtenances as described.
The new fraternity house will be constructed on Rose Lane on lots 454 and 456 in Lexington, KY on land owned by the University of Kentucky. The new facility will be a three-story structure of approximately 20,000 sq ft and will provide housing for 52 fraternity members. Rooms will be arranged in a suite arrangement with two, double occupied rooms sharing a bathroom. Other spaces within the facility will include first floor living and dining facilities; a commercial kitchen, library and second floor lounge; and an efficiency apartment for the housemother will be located on the first floor. The exterior of the building will be comprised of a brick veneer on wood frame structure and the roof will be shingles on a wood frame roof truss structure. The building will utilize a geothermal heating and cooling system.
This will be a scattered-site housing rehabilitation activity that will support the comprehensive revitalization of the City’s Midtown (formerly S. Ellen Jones) Neighborhood. Midtown is the City’s target area for Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding. It is in the intent of this program to improve the existing owner-occupied housing stock through repairs that enhance the quality, livability, efficiency and overall appearance of the assisted homes.

The Gallatin Co Alternative School and Fieldhouse project includes the construction of four new structures, new football field lighting and related site work. The new structures are: Alternative School and Fieldhouse to include classrooms as well as athletic locker and training spaces; Restroom and Concessions building; Softball Press Box building; Bleachers of metal and aluminum construction on concrete footings with fully enclosed prefabricated 420sf press box.
Harrod Creek Pump Station construction will include the construction of a 37′ L x 35′ W x 75′ D wet well with 4-580 HP pumps with valve vault, control and screen building, odor and chemical control, diesel generator, 139′ of 48″ diameter pipe, and 158′ of 30″ diameter force main. Site preparations will include tree clearing, earthwork, access road with associated drainage, 200′ of modular block retaining wall, and extension of utilities to site.
UK Healthcare will be building a retail pharmacy within the new UK Chandler Hospital. Space is currently shell space so it will be new construction. Trades will include but not limited to Interior Architectural Woodwork, Fire stopping, Hollow Metal Doors and Frames, Wood Doors, Overhead Coiling Doors, Door Hardware, Glazing, Metal Framing, Gypsum Board, Tiling, Acoustical Ceiling, Resilient Base and Flooring, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical.
