This project generally consists of re-roofing approximately 22,790 square feet of
existing corrugated metal panel roofing with new rigid insulation filler/cover board and
mechanically fastened single ply membrane roofing system. Other associated items
such as wood blocking installation, misc. sheet metal, incidental painting and limited
demolition of existing roof top terminals/ curbs, entry soffits, metal fascias. Two
separate roof canopies of approx. 228 sf located over entries shall also be included
such as roofing system, fascia and soffit replacement.

This contract consists of the installation of approximately 4,574 LF of 8″ PVC Pipe, 270 LF of steel casing (open cut), valves, fittings, and appurtenances as shown on the plans. All pipe, fittings and valves will be furnished by the Owner.
The Powell County high School project consists of addition and renovation components affecting the following programmatic elements. Addition work includes approximately 13,500 SF addition including 6 classrooms, 1 band choral suite, and a public restroom. Renovations include converting 12 existing classrooms into 9 classrooms and 1 computer classroom. Structures will primarily consist of concrete footers with stem wall foundations with slab-on-grade concrete slabs. Walls will consist of load bearing CMU walls with a thermal spray-foam insulated cavity wall system and brick façade on exterior walls. A 2-ply modified SBS roof membrane system will be over a lightweight insulating concrete, metal deck system over steel metal joists. Interior partition walls will consist of a mix of CMU walls and metal stud/gypsum board assemblies. Interiors will be fully finished with paint, tile flooring system, and a mix of 2×4 ceiling tile/grid and gypsum soffit systems. Mechanical systems will be roof top package systems providing individual controls for classrooms. Electrical, data and communication systems are noted and fire alarm and suppression systems are considered for this work. Additionally, an internal courtyard with pavers and low-maintenance landscaping is also considered as part of the base bid elements of this project.
All demolition, backfilling of planters, and landscaping are the responsibility of the City of Beattyville, unless otherwise noted. New construction will consist of concrete sidewalks and aprons, steps, concrete curbs, storm drainage, asphalt, crosswalks, site lighting, utility infrastructure, and other miscellaneous items.

Wolfe County Fiscal Court/City of Campton Station 6+50 to 22+78 KY 191 East Main Street Drainage, Sidewalk, and Curb and Gutter construction including, but not limited to, concrete to construct the sidewalk and drainage system.
The work includes the renovation of the existing school with new additions for a total of 69,636 SF. The existing school has approximately 55,745 SF with approximately 4,635 SF being demolished, and the additions have 17,752 SF – all part of a one-story building, though there are multiple levels with a change in elevation of 8’-0” from the main entry down to the existing Gymnasium. Deep Springs Elementary School was originally built in 1963 with major building additions in 1966, 1975, and 1988. The scope of work for the current major construction project includes but is not limited to: selective and building demolition, removal and replacement of mechanical systems including installation of variable refrigerant volume systems, replacement of existing electrical systems, fire protection, fire alarm systems, interior finishes (walls, ceilings, floors and base), door hardware, site improvements and paving, replacement of kitchen equipment and the addition of 17,752 SF of new Administrative Area, Kitchen, interior ramped corridor connection to Gym, Classrooms, Mechanical Room, and secondary entry vestibules. The Decagon wing will undergo a major renovation and will be stripped down to only leave the steel structure. The work effort will be executed in four principle phases beginning in May 2013 and ending in January 2015. The building will be occupied during all phases of construction work.

Work is to include installation of approximately 29,00 LF of 8-inch waterline with 400 LF of various sized directionally drilled creek/river crossings and other appurtenances. Installation of a master meter vault with telemetry, a pressure reducing vault and 65 service connections.
Construction of a new 1,195 seat stadium with an elevated press box and team facilities on the first level. The structure is CMU and steel framed with concrete slab on metal deck. The grandstand consists of steel angle frame type aluminum bleachers on concrete concourse slab. Approximately 663 chair back and 532 bench back seats will be provided. The team facility includes two team locker rooms with shower areas, two team lounges and space for training, officials and visiting teams. Two bridges will connect the Soccer Complex to the existing Softball Stadium.
Demolition work includes the removal of existing bleacher concrete slab foundations (bleachers to be removed by owner). The work includes foundations, steel structure, concrete masonry unit walls, concrete slabs, brick finish, grandstands and steating systems, metal wall panel systems, TPO roofing system, glazing systems, finishes, mechanical and electrical systems; The facility is a Type 2B Construction per the Kentucky Building Code.

The work consists of: The complete removal and replacement of all existing sprinkler heads, except those noted to remain. Sprinkler heads shall be wax coated, rough brass finish in all exterior and wet locations. And shall be white color (in light areas) in ACT or gypsum ceiling and rough brass finish (in dark areas). The Owner‟s preferred daily work schedule shall be Monday-Thursday 10 hour/day. There are no Contractor working days on Friday-Sunday. A 48 hour notification is required for any FP/FA outage. Any damaged utility by the Contractor must be put back into service immediately.

The Base Bid Work includes partial replacement of the major roofing components of the existing Berea Community School and interior architectural finish work to accommodate this work, with three Bid Alternates. The scope of work for this current projects include Base Bid Work to replace the existing loose laid, graveled ballasted membrane system on a portion of the low slope roofing area with a new 2-ply modified bitumen system with new insulation, selected interior demolition and new interior finish work in order to accommodate the roofing replacement. Bid Alternates include (1) replacement of the existing Elementary Pod HVAC system with a new geothermal water source heat pump system to include a new wheel and plate energy recovery system, and replacement of existing parking lot pavement surface at new geothermal well field, (2) a new controls system for the existing lighting fixtures in the Elementary Pod, and (3) additional spray-on cellulose thermal insulation at the partial building perimeter.
This project consists of the construction of 1,100 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer lines, rehab of ten (10) conventional wastewater lift stations and flood proofing of controls, replacement or installation of various wastewater treatment plant equipment consisting of wastewater grinder, composite samplers, floating mixer aerator, aeration blowers, aeraton rotors, and UV disinfection system. Project also consists of restoring capacity of all plant basins by removal and proper disposal of solids.
Construction of the new Extension Service Meeting Facility. The new meeting facility will consist of approximately 7,500 sf of new construction single story fully sprinkled construction. The foundation system will be drilled pier concrete foundations and concrete slab on grade. The primary structural framing system will be a pre-engineered metal frame building. The exterior wall construction for the building will consist of 6” metal studs with spray foam insulation. The exterior wall construction will also include 4” nominal thermally broken aluminum storefront windows with 1” insulated glazing. The interior walls will consist of light gauge steel framing with gypsum board. Interior finishes will consists of linoleum sheet and tile applications, modular carpet tile, porcelain and glazed ceramic tile applications, large areas of casework, painting and suspended acoustical ceilings and gypsum board and metal stud soffit construction
