Installation of approximately 61 LF of 30” gravity sewer, 1,506 LF of 18” gravity sewer, 70 LF of 18” gravity sewer bored and jacked in a 30” encasement pipe, 544 LF of 15” gravity sewer, 345 of 15” gravity sewer bored and jacked in a 24” encasement pipe, 21’ of 8” gravity sewer, 103 LF of 12” gravity sewer, 2,033 LF of 10” force main, decommissioning and demolition of four pump stations, renovation of one pump station, 12 manholes with all related work.
Work required includes removal of existing roofing materials and replacement with new insulation and single ply roof membrane, including new metal trim, gutters, downspouts, etc. Also included is modification of a portion of the existing framing beneath mansard panels and installation of new metal roof panels and metal soffit panels on the mansard framing at the Gymnasium walls. Removal of existing mansard panels and soffit panels at the Gymnasium will be by others, under separate contract with the Owner.

Construction at this site must be performed in a manner that protects the existing staff and clients from risks that are inherent to construction operations. Bidders shall direct their attention to the Owner’s Special Conditions stated in Article 1.5 below.
Work of the Project includes:
1. Full tear off of existing roof systems and replacement.
2. Removal of single pane glazing from all existing windows except for the clerestory and installation of new 1” Low E clear insulated glazing.
3. Selected demolition of existing HVAC systems.
4. Installation of new geothermal VRF with outside air HVAC system.
5. Renovation of Laundry 126A.
6. Bidding Alternates, including renovation of restrooms 123 and 132 and expanded geothermal well field as specified in section 012000 Price, Payment and Bid Alternates.

The project consists of the construction of approximately 14,000 SF new office building on two floor levels, concrete slab on grade, steel framed wall, and truss roof system.
The scope of work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following areas – The construction of a poured concrete foundation with concrete slab on grade; structural steel beam framing; cold-formed metal stud infill wall framing; wood roof trusses, roof deck with fiberglass shingle roofing aluminum prefinished continuous gutters, gutter guards, downspouts, and accessory flashings. Exterior Hardie Board siding, trim work, aluminum entrance doors, prefinished metal clad wood windows. Interior walls are wood stud with gypsum board panels, with hollow metal frames and wood, or hollow metal doors. Finishes include wood moldings for casings, and picture molding, carpet, vinyl tile, porcelain tile, ceramic tile, acoustic ceilings, and related painting. The Project Scope is to install aluminum grandstand bleachers and press box along with the demolition of the existing stadium structure. The project scope will include electrical and plumbing work, along with concrete foundations for bleacher structure. Also included are associated concrete slab, fencing, and grading.

The existing 12,875 square feet of building area will be copmpletely renovated and an approximately 3,800 square food addition constructed to the rear of the building. The building addition will be 3-story with 1-level below grade to match the existing building section. Included in the building addition will be both men and women restrooms, a vestibule, multiple louge spaces, an elevator, a stair tower and an exterior roof terrace.
The buildings mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will also be updated as part of the project as well as the creation of an outdoor gathering space adjacent to the side of the building.
In general, Bid Package B includes all work associated with the project less demolition, structural work including masonry and steel, geothermal and elevators.

Replace the existing 100% Outside Air Handling Units #19 and 21 at Good Samaritan Hospital. These will be replaced with new larger units due to their age and increased ventilation requirements in the hospital. In addition to the unit replacement, this project will also install new duct risers for both units to allow for more airflow to be distributed throughout the building. AHU-21 will also be provided with a low temperature heat recovery chiller to provide low temperature air to the operating rooms.
