This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 2037 US 421, Manchester, KY 40962. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls, vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles. Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0″, typical bearing wall to be 10’-1″. The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The Work also includes a small asphalt parking area (1 space, accessible). Consult project documents for information regarding connecting to site utilities.

This project consists of the complete demolition and removal of the roof at the District
Office Building, District #9 located in Fleming Co., Flemingsburg, Ky. and the
replacement with a thermo plastic membrane roof, over tapered insulation, all
flashings, drip edges, anchors and accessories for a water tight system. The building is
approximately 9,200 square feet.
Emergency Generator District 9 Office, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

This project consists of installing a 150 KW, 208/120 volt, three phase, four wire, emergency standby diesel generator with a 284 gallon base fuel tank and an 800 amp, four pole, automatic transfer switch (ATS) for the Flemingsburg District Nine Office located at 822 Elizaville Road, Flemingsburg, Kentucky 41041. The generator and ATS will be provided by the Commonwealth of Kentucky through a Master Agreement with Whayne Power Systems. The contractor will furnish and install a concrete pad for the generator and a separate concrete pad for the ATS. The generator and ATS will be delivered FOB to the District Nine Office. The contract includes unloading and installing the new generator and ATS. The new generator will serve all building loads when utility power is lost. The District Office is served from pole mounted transformers. The underground service will be rearranged at the riser pole to include the ATS. A short duration outage will be used to cutover to the new service arrangement. Coordination with Fleming-Mason Energy RECC, Whayne Power Systems, and District Nine Office personnel is required. All work will be preformed outside the District Nine Office building and in the main electrical/mechanical equipment room. Eighty calendar days will be allowed for the construction. Generator and ATS have been ordered. Experience in the construction of underground electrical systems is required.

This project includes the removal of the existing 4KV electrical distribution at KSR and
installation of a new 15KV electrical distribution system. Included in the new 15KV distribution
system is new above ground 15KV fused distribution switches, new 15KV cables, new 15KV
transformers, and work inside some of the buildings as required. Also included in the project is
the upgrade of the existing 4KV emergency distribution system, and replacement and upgrade of
the existing overhead 4KV distribution system that is mainly outside the prison fence.
The scope of work includes the construction of a concrete bridge, 80 feet in lenght and 14 feet wide, for the future construction of a paved bike trail. Additional earthworks and grading will also be performed at each bridge abutment.

The scope includes renovation of approximately8,867 square feet of the existing 1982 building. The project includes reworking and renovating spaces on the main floor of this building along with new finishes and rebovated toilets on the lower level. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work for this renovation includes a new makeup air unit, fire suppression, lighting and plumbing. In addition, there are multiple locations throughout the school that will have new HVAC and new electrical systems.
This project consists of the furnishing and installing of gravity sewers, manholes, property service connections, asphalt paving, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project.
Multiple Roof Repair/Replacement, Western State Hospital

The work to be performed under this contract includes the removal and replacement of all
roofing/flashings/etc. on Buildings #30, 31, 32 & 33 of the Nursing Facility at Western State
Hospital, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The existing roofing material/gravel/insulation shall be removed
down to the existing gypsum decking. These materials have been tested and contain no
asbestos. The existing gypsum decking shall be repaired as required for the new roofing system.
Contractor shall install a new base sheet, insulation and 2 ply SBS modified bitumen roofing
system over the existing roof as shown on the roofing plans. All existing gutters, downspouts to
ground, flashings and counterflashings shall be removed and new materials shall be installed
per details. It shall be noted that there is existing transite formboard exposed on the underside of
the eave which contains asbestos, but this material shall not be dealt with or touched during the
roof/flashing work.
The base bid shall include all labor, materials, supervision and equipment for the work contained
and shown on Buildings #31 and 33. Additive alternate #1 shall be for all work contained on
Building #30. Additive alternate #2 shall be for all work contained and shown on Building #32.
Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for The referenced project consists of the installation of +/-55 linear feet of 8-inch DPW water main, including valves, fittings, and two (2) tie-ins to existing water mains. The project also includes removing existing water main from a catch basin and grouting the walls (2) of the catch basin. Restoration includes sidewalk repair and milling and paving of a drive lane near the intersection of 22nd Street and Gaulbert Avenue.

The contractor shall furnish, install and test underground communication between the owner computer network, high voltage reclosures and the power generation equipment (by others).Domestic water will be provided to the generation site, originating at the Owner’s existing distribution system and extending underground to a yard hydrant. Natural gas will be extend from the utility company, adjacent to the site, reduced in pressure and extended both above and below grade and connected to three generators (by others).
