The scope of work is for the construction of a new public park on Butler Drive in Danville. Work includes construction of a multi-use trail and parking lot, installation of playground areas, invasive species removal, installation of underground electrical conduit, daylighting of a small tributary, and planting of herbaceous vegetation and trees.

Inteceptor Project Phase 2 Line “F” consists of the construction of approximately 156 L.F. of 12-inch sewer, 225 L.F. of 18-inch sewer and other appurtances.
Highway 480 Sanitary Sewer Extension consists of the construction of approximately 595 L.F. of 8-inch sewer, 730 L.F of 10-inch sewer and appurtenances.
The Project consists of rehabilitation of sanitary sewer collection system including but not limited to manholes rehabilitation, point repairs of sanitary sewers, lining and replacement of sanitary sewers. Sewers range in size from 4 – to 21-inch diameters. Work shall include all scheduling, product, materials and labor to complete the required improvements including restoration to a minimum of pre-existing surface conditions. Contractor submitting the bid shall be required to perform a minimum of fifty (50%) per cent of the total project work. The Project is funded through the state’s Revolving Fund Program. The Contractor shall submit with the bid all required contractor certification and EPA forms as specified in the Supplementary Conditions for Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.

The University of Kentucky will be soliciting proposals from qualified security integrators to prove and install a geo-diverse video management system (VMS) and security management system (SMS) and provide situational awareness to targeted areas on campus and event driven analytics to alert University Campus Police of possible threats to campus. This project will provide campus-wide camera monitoring, early warning system speakers, and other communication devices to monitor and respond to campus incidents. This centralized and campus-wide system will also allow for large occupancy structures or restricted areas to be outfitted with access control devices that will restrict ingress remotely from a central location. The project will provide the infrastructure necessary for proposed installations and incorporate or replace legacy systems to a single security system.
The Scope of Services includes the design and implementation of the VMS, SMS and all other security components including but not limited to a single ID card (Wildcard) operations and early warning mass notification into a one platform campus security system.
The buildings to be demolished are located at 700 Woodland Ave, Lexington KY and consists of removing all structures, foundation walls, footings, landscaping, sidewalks, utilities, etc as indicated and specified.
A) Building: Each building is a 39,560 square foot, 2-story residence hall built on a partial walkout basement. The structure consists of CMU bearing walls and steel joist floor and roof construction with brick veneer on concrete foundations. First floor and basement concrete slabs on grade
B) Roof: The original 1956 roof system was a low slope built up membrane assembly, which is still in place. The current sloped shingle roof system was installed over top of the existing low sloped roof assembly.

The project scope includes a 20,000 square foot addition composed of a new Multipurpose Gym space, Administration Suite, Restrooms, Corridors and Mechanical room. The project also includes major renovation taking place in the kitchen/cafeteria and a partial renovation consisting of new HVAC, finishes and ceilings in the 60s and 70s portion of the building. A new sprinkler system will be installed throughout the entire school and a staircase renovated for life safety.

The renovation of 4 elevators located in 2 different buildings. The Phoenix Building has a 3 car group of traction elevators serving 7 stops. The Police HQ Building includes a simplex hydraulic elevator serving 5 stops. Renovation includes but is not limited to the replacement of the elevator controllers, ropes, hall call buttons, put ladders, car operating panels, updating of elevator wiring and cab interiors, fire alarm modifications and other emergency operating system. This project is divided into a base bid and 1 bid alternate. The base bid includes all work related to the three traction elevators in the Phoenix Building and bid alternate 1 includes all work related to the renovation of the simplex hydraulic elevator in the Police HQ Building.
The project will relocate an existing 12” clay sanitary sewer pipe that is currently located bisecting the middle of the lots 470, 468, 462, 460, 456, 454, 452, 450 and 448 along the west side of Rose lane. The existing sanitary sewer will be intercepted at the property line where 453 Woodland adjoins 470 Rose Lane. The proposed new sewer location will run east along Woodland and then turn to run parallel with Rose lane approximately 5 to 10 feet to the east of the existing Rose Lane sidewalk. The new 12” PVC line will include sanitary manholes as needed to provide connections for future development along Rose lane. All sanitary sewer work will be installed and tested following LFUCG regulations. The new sanitary line will extend to Lot 448 on Rose lane and reconnect with the existing at a manhole on lot 448 Rose Lane. The existing sanitary sewer lines crossing Rose lane in the vicinity of Transylvania Park will also be connected to the new line being installed. Existing Structures on Rose lane will also be reconnected to the relocated sewer line. The installation of the new sanitary line is expected to require trench rock excavation, temporary bypass pumping and restoration of sidewalks and driveways along Rose Lane. There are many utilities in the area and some coordination and possible relocations of water and gas service lines is expected.
