1. Roofing System Description Over Roof Areas A, B, and C of the OTC 100 Building:
a. Existing roof membrane to remain.
b. Wet Areas:
i. Remove areas as indicated on Drawings.
ii. Re-fill with rigid insulation up to the original roof surface.
c. Clean entire roof surface of debris.
d. Cut open blisters and mole runs.
i. Flatten these areas prior to installing insulation.
e. Remove sheet metal components as indicated on Drawings.
f. Mechanically fasten to existing roof deck through existing roofing system insulation as follows:
i. At Roof Areas ‘A’ & ‘B’: 1-layer of 2.0-inch thick roof insulation.
ii. At Roof Areas ‘C’: 1-layer of 2.5-inch thick roof insulation.
g. Adhere 1-layers of 0.5-inch thick cover board, in hot asphalt, Type IV. Stagger all thermal joints.
h. Install modified bitumen base ply sheet in hot asphalt, Type IV.
i. Install cant strip at perimeter and projections and base flash with modified bitumen.
j. Install replacement roof drains.
k. Set metal components for roof drains, plumbing vents and overflow scuppers.
l. Install cap sheet in cold adhesive.
i. Hold cold adhesive back 3″ on side laps and back 6″ on end laps.
m. Use hot air gun on the 3″ side lap and 6″ end lap.
i. Roll laps with a 3-inch rounded edge roller.
ii. On 6-inch end laps, remove loose granules and heat and embed remaining granules with a hot air gun.
iii. A 1/8″ to 3/8″ bleed out of SBS compound shall be visible at seam edges.
n. Rollout roofing membrane sheets.
i. Allow membrane sheets to relax for minimum time period required by manufacturer prior to installation, but for no less than 30-minutes.
o. Do not walk on cap sheets after installation until the cold adhesive has set up for 14-days.
p. Install finished foil faced modified bitumen flashing set in cold process MB mastic.
i. Anchor to top edge with termination bar and screws @ 6″ o.c. max.
q. Install new sheet metal components as indicated on Drawings.
r. Install walkways at locations indicated and as manufacturer’s latest recommendations.
s. Disconnect mechanical, plumbing and electrical work necessary to properly perform roofing work.
i. Reconnect mechanical, plumbing and electrical work at the conclusion of roofing work, and verify mechanical, plumbing and electrical work are functioning properly.
2. Roofing System Description Over ATB and RPC Buildings: [Alternates #1 & #2]
a. Existing roof membrane to remain.
b. Cut open blisters and mole runs in areas indicated on Drawings.
i. Flatten these areas.
c. Remove loose foil on flashings in areas indicated on Drawings.
d. Clean and prime existing cap sheet and flashings in repair areas indicated on Drawings.
e. Install granule surfaced cap sheet over blister and mole-run repairs.
f. Install foil faced flashings in areas indicated on Drawings where foil was removed.
i. Seal open flashings laps.
g. Remove existing masonry and through wall flashings, as indicated on Drawings.
h. Clean and prime CMU substrate for flashing installation
i. Install metal through wall flashings plus self-adhered flashings.
j. Install termination bar at top edge of metal through wall flashings
k. Re-install masonry and new weep screens at 16″ o.c.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the supply and installation of 140+/- linear feet of six (6)-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (restrained and non-restrained) and the bore, supply and installation of 65+/- LF of 12-inch steel casing pipe and appurtenances. Replace aging latrine facilities at the Readiness Center in Springfield, Kentucky, along with a renovation to the existing space to create include a Lactation Room, to comply with UFC 4-171-05. Demo existing restroom facilities and associated architectural and MEP systems, and replace with new fixtures and systems as indicated in the contract documents.
Expansion of the current vault from approximately 240sf to 650 sf to accommodate new secure storage requirements. This includes reconfiguration of the Unit Storage, Locker Room, and Battalion Supply areas.
Administrative and common areas of the Readiness Center to receive new finishes. New LED lighting to be installed throughout the Readiness Center. New windows to be installed throughout.

The primary scope of work includes construction of a new 12.0 MGD water treatment plant in a
location that will facilitate the connection to the existing system and the proposed raw water
transmission main. The new WTP will include: a flash mix system, a flocculation basin, a 12.0
MGD membrane pressure filtration system, a granular activated carbon adsorption system,
chemical storage and feed systems, a 2.6 MG clearwell, three washwater lagoons, operation and
laboratory facilities, and appurtenances on the water treatment plant site.

The Mike Winchester Site is a former retail petroleum facility located in Lexington, Kentucky. Releases of petroleum from this facility have resulted in soil and groundwater contamination at on-site and off-site locations. The Kentucky Division of Waste Management, Underground Storage Tank Branch is requesting a site investigation at this facility. Site investigation tasks include borehole geophysical logging, overburden and bedrock monitoring well installations, karst hydrogeologic inventory, dye tracer study, and groundwater monitoring. The required deliverables include Project Work Plans and Completion Submittals.
