The project scope allows for the bidder to be a General Contractor, or by a trade contractor who will serve as a general contractor qualified to meet all of the conditions of this project manual, plans, and specifications. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract in a single sequenced phase.
The project scope includes the selective demolition and the removal of defective impact resistant glazing for all existing exterior curtainwall frames and storefront door, and proper disposal of existing glazing.
The project is located at the in-use Commonwealth Emergency Operation Center, it is imperative to minimize disruptions to the works in this essential-use facility at all times. The removal of glazing must be sequenced thus that it corresponds to the glass replacement that can be conducted on the same day.
The project is comprised of impact resistant laminated glazing installed within an existing curtainwall framing system that requires specialized coordination between the glazing manufacturer, fabricator, and installer.
The project includes removal and re-installation of a small area of the Johns-Manville roof gravel stop in compliance with the roof warranty.

Clarify that the work is to be conducted at an occupied, Military Affairs Facility, and will remain occupied during the entire contract period. The contractor shall provide all labor, planning, materials, and work to meet Engineer’s expectation. Work to be performed within the facility is to be coordinated with the Owner’s Representative (Superintendent or Maintenance Supervisor) on a daily basis.

into the Mother’s Nursing Suite. All finishing items, such as walls, flooring,
ceiling, counters, appliances, etc. are also included in this project.
The primary purpose of this project is the replacement of existing electric water heater with two instantaneous gas water heaters. A new gas line will be brought into the building(RHU) from an existing line along the perimeter of the exterior fence line. Demolish existing water heater. Install new water heaters and electrical work as directed on the drawings.

During the recent heavy rain event, some slide material has slid against the house and it appears that there may be more that will come down. The proposed project is to excavate behind the house, slope the highwall back to a stable configuration, install drainage control with subdrain ditches and culverts. The Architectural scope of work for the Governor’s Mansion Penthouse Repairs includes the following: Install Spray foam insulation on the exterior walls and the roof deck.
Repair Plaster areas of deterioration in the stairwell on the exterior walls
Install new gypsum board on the exterior walls and the ceilings, finish, prime and paint. Paint all remaining walls and trim with 1 coat to match.
Install new wall tile and tile cove base in one bathroom (on exterior wall side only)
Install new painted wood base trim on all exterior walls where it was previously removed and new drywall is installed.

There will be a reuse of the existing Fan Coil Units of mechanical HVAC
The HVAC, heating, cooling and ventilation is existing 2 ton console fan coil unit in the Living Room, existing 1 ton vertical floor fan coil unit in Bedroom #1 and existing 1 ton vertical floor fan coil unit in Bedroom #2. The fan coil units will be completely serviced, coils cleaned, condensate drain pan cleaned, condensate drains cleaned out, filters replaced, and thermostat controls checked.
The exhaust fans will be replaced in both Shower Rooms with 100 cfm fans and new exhaust ductwork.
New supply and return air grilles will be provided in both of the Bedrooms.
The design of the electrical system will include new LED lighting in all spaces since the ceilings are being replaced.
New ceiling fans are being provided in the Living Room and both Bedrooms to assist the HVAC system in comfort conditioning the spaces and help the HVAC system resolve humidity issues.

Project consists of construction of a new Food Pantry Facility. The building will be a pre-engineered metal
building with plumbing, electric and HVAC. Site demolition of existing concrete slabs
and new site work for the new building.
Project is for the Demolition of Buildings located at 106 and 108 East Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky for Jefferson Community and Technical College. Building 106 is a 1 ½ story concrete frame building with a partial basement and former mechanical penthouse. Building 108 is an annex and connected to Building 106 and is a CMU framed structure with bar joist ceiling structure and slab on grade.
As part of the project, contractor shall cut and cap plumbing and sanitary utilities where they enter the site and Utilities within the Building will be demolished.
Upon completion of the demolition, contractor shall provide compacted and engineered fill to prepare the site for Phase 2 of the project which is to construct a parking lot and site improvements. Phase 2 will be completed under a separate contract.
Contractor shall be required to coordinate site logistics i.e. fencing, staging, route of debris removal, etc. with the Phase 2 site contractor.
Project includes all work associated with the conversion of an existing cafeteria/kitchen space into a teaching dental clinic. This consists of a full renovation of approximately 4600 square feet of interior space, as well as minor exterior work. Dental equipment will be provided under a separate contract.

Existing concrete structure that supports two upper bleacher locations in the
gymnasium is to undergo structural repairs. Scope includes, but is not limited to, new steel columns,
beams and other steel structure, new reinforced concrete column footings, concrete repairs, reworking
of existing sprinkler and lighting systems to allow for installation of new work, and moving and
storage of existing equipment/furnishings during the course of the work.
The Libraries and Archives building is a 150,000 square foot facility that stores and archives historically and culturally critical documents for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Due to the critical nature of the documents stored, temperature and humidity control is critical. Originally built in the late 1970s, the scope of the HVAC replacement is to upgrade, modify and otherwise modernize the current HVAC system and temperature controls. The building will remain in operation for the duration of the construction contract where the contractor is expected to phase construction activities and closely coordinate with the facility owners and operations staff.

serve the building within the footprint and up to 5’ outside of the building footprint, where the Sitework
