The project is located at 156 Sharon Heights, Forest Hills, KY in Pike County. Coordinates are 37.6439, -82.2826.
The project area is 0.3 acres. It consists of excavation of a small slide, drainage control, and a wildlife accessible portal closure. A small slide area behind the residence will be excavated and backfilled with class II rock. A combination rock ditch and subdrain will be installed along the slope and extending alongside the house, where it will transition to a length of HDPE pipe extending across the road to a roadside ditch, which will be armored with class II rock. A wildlife accessible portal enclosure will be installed on an open portal behind the adjacent house.
Utilities in the area will be marked and worked around and/or replaced as necessary to complete to project. Waste material will be disposed at the Money Branch waste area off of KY-612. No trees will be disturbed in the project.
Concrete and bituminous repair, including roadway stone, has been factored into the contract. Revegetation of the site will be done according to standard AML design specifications.
The Work includes providing and erecting a new 2,604 SF conditioned pre-engineered metal storage building at the project site. Building to be slab-on-grade with pier and grade-beam foundation system. Gutters and downspouts will connect to an existing below grade drainage system. Building will include two sectional overhead doors, two hollow metal doors. HVAC system will be mini-split type with two ceiling mounted cassettes and one outdoor unit. Electric service to be run at high voltage from existing electrical room in existing facility to new transformer in new building. Coordinate additional items with plans and specifications.

This project converts former classroom 303 into a suite of six (6) offices. Renovations
include new walls, new ceilings, new flooring and wall base, new LED lights, revised HVAC,
new power & data outlets, and walls will be patched & painted.
This project renovates rooms 308 & 310 in the Little Fine Arts Library. In room 308, one wall
will be converted to a storefront wall and the entry door will be relocated. In room 310, the
entry wall and entry doors will be replaced with a new glass storefront wall and new entrance
doors. Carpet will be replaced in both rooms. Walls in both rooms will be patched and
painted. An audio-visual projector and projector screen will be removed. New LED lights will
be installed. Existing blinds will be replaced with Mechoshades.
System Balancing and Certification required:
A preliminary air balance of each affected/project space (hereafter referred to as the ‘space’)
is required prior to beginning of construction. TAB contractor is to perform airflow
measurements of all supply diffusers and return grilles in each room. Airflow in each space
shall be measured at maximum and minimum conditions. Each supply, return, and exhaust
GRD shall be measured at both minimum and maximum positions and the airflow values
recorded. Testing shall be performed by an independent NEBB or AABC-certified TAB
contractor. The initial certified report shall be provided to the owner prior to project
completion. As room airflow conditions may have changed since the original installation, rebalancing of each space required. Each new space is to maintain a negative pressure
condition, either 100 CFM (minimum) or 10% airflow negative offset, whichever is greater.
Provide a final, certified repeat of the initial test, with all supply diffusers and return grilles
measured at both the minimum and maximum operating conditions.
