Removal of a slide that has occurred behind Mr. Johnson’s garage. The
slide is pushing up against the garage with about 0.11 acres being disturbed. This will allow enough room to construct a 110 LF permanent debris barrier wall behind the garage. Along with an 80 LF high non-reinforced block wall type 1 that will be located to the side of the barrier wall.
Also being installed will be one mine portal wildlife closure that is located next to the slide area and two standard non-wildlife mine portal closures that are in the slide area.

Meade County High School. The project utilizes ICF exterior walls and masonry interior walls
with hollow-core plank and structural steel structure. Finishes include Terrazzo, Porcelain Tile,
LVT and others. There are several alternate bids, including a pre-engineered metal building
practice facility. Related sitework, utilities and MPE work complete the project.

This project consists of construction of construction of a relocated and extended Terminal
Drive; construction of additional parking lots. Major line items of work to include: 900+ additional
parking spaces; one half mile of new Terminal Drive; 3,000 tons of new hot mix asphalt; one half
mile of storm sewer pipe; 7,000+ square feet of combined hardscape, sidewalk, and landscaping; a
new utility corridor; 5,000+ linear feet of new curb and gutter; 500 linear feet of sheltered walkway;
and a new exit toll plaza with building.
This invitation is for the upgrade of the elevator in Campbell building as specified in the following bid at Eastern
Kentucky University’s Richmond, KY Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services
necessary to complete the project outlined in the event and attachments including all items indicated throughout the event.

The project consists of replacing approximately 5,450 L.F. of
existing 6” waterline with 8” D.I. waterline along US 27, 2,900 L.F. of 6” HDPE,
DR-11 temporary waterline and all necessary appurtenances. The engineer’s
estimate for the total base bid is $1,010,000.
The project consists selective demolition and subsequent renovation of areas within the Walton National Guard Armory located at 183 Beaver Road, Walton, KY. Work includes demolition of existing Men’s & Women’s latrines, removal and subsequent offsite disposal of existing architectural finishes, plaster and acoustic ceiling systems, ceramic tile and vinyl flooring, concrete slabs, doors, hardware, concrete masonry partitions, plumbing, mechanical and electrical improvements. .
New work to be performed includes installation of new Men’s and Women’s Restrooms including new metal frame partitions, new fixtures and finishes, new phenolic plastic partitions and screens, new individual shower enclosures, lockers and benches. Finishes shall include new painted gypsum panel ceilings and walls, new acoustic tile ceilings, new porcelain tile wall finishes, new MMA flooring and base, solid surfacing countertops and stainless toilet accessories. New plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, switches and receptacles will also be installed. Adjacent to the Women’s Toilet Room will be a Lactation Room with acoustic ceiling, painted gypsum panels walls, MMA flooring, plastic laminate casework, lighting, switches and receptacles. In addition one, HC Metal exterior door is to be replaced in the Assembly Hall.

South U.S. 27 Phase 2 Sanitary Sewer Extensions—One 20 gpm submersible
sewage pump station, approximately 1,360 linear feet of 2-inch HDPE force main,

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued to solicit proposals from qualified, experienced,
financially sound, and responsible firms to provide all design, labor, equipment and materials to
complete the Modular Casework for the University of Kentucky HealthCare Cancer Center and
Advanced Ambulatory Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Scope of work to align with Trade Category
12B.8.
• The Contractor who is chosen to design, fabricate, and install the product must provide a
turn-key installation which includes clean-up from associated installation.
• The Contractor who is chosen must provide a single point of contact during the project
period. This single point of contact will have full responsibility for ensuring the project
requirements are completed.
• Provide complete all permitting, engineering, labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances,

The Kentucky State Capitol Renovation – Bid Package 10 – Comprehensive Restoration incorporates the primary renovation of the building, including interior and partial structural demolition and interior renovation, restoration, and historic preservation. In addition to architectural components, Bid Package 10 incorporates full replacement of all plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and telecommunications systems, and the addition of fire protection, enhanced security, and audio-visual systems. Exterior scope included in Bid Package 10 is primarily limited to reconstruction of the West Terrace and the replacement of exterior doors and windows.
The project consists of the following and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents:
a. The replacement of the entire existing infrastructure including Mechanical Systems (Heating and AC), Plumbing, Data Cabling, Power Infrastructure, etc., which is obsolete and has far exceeded its life expectancy.
b. The introduction of new but required and necessary building systems which do not currently exist, such as automatic sprinkler systems, standpipes, smoke detection and fire alarm systems.
c. To the extent possible, the pathways required to distribute the new building infrastructure will be planned, designed, and installed in a manner that will allow relatively easy access in the future, without the need of “opening up” the building again, when the time comes to replace this new infrastructure.
d. The life expectancy of the new building infrastructure is planned to be 30 years at a minimum and / or meeting the appropriate standards of the industry, such as ASHRAE, etc.
e. Life safety and ADA compliance are to be achieved through the installation of the new building infrastructure, as well as architectural improvements including enclosing egress stairs, providing guardrails and railings in selected locations, new restrooms, and creating barrier free access to and within the building.
f. Managing risk associated with an historic building of this age and character, which includes addressing chronic deferred maintenance and considerable deterioration found in the Dome and Terraces, as well as other areas of the building, such as parapets, roof slabs, and moisture protection systems.
g. Protect, preserve, and restore the significant historic fabric of the building that has remained intact over the 100-plus year history of the building.
h. Enhance space utilization, create efficiencies and synergies both within the building and coordinated with the Capitol Annex which acts as an extension of the Capitol.
i. All proposed work will be planned, designed, and performed in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior Standards which form the basis for review and approval by the Kentucky Heritage Council, State Historic Preservation Office, thereby protecting the status of the building as a National Register property, as well as allowing for the potential of being elevated to National Historic Landmark (NHL) status when the work is completed. All decisions regarding the renovations to the Capitol building will be presented to the Historic Properties Advisory Commission on a quarterly basis for advice and consent.
