This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 5078 KY. 1428, Allen, KY 41601. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls, vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles. Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0″, typical bearing wall to be 10’-1″. The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The Work also includes a small asphalt parking area (1 space, accessible). Consult project documents for information regarding connecting to site utilities. Furnish and install approximately 12,709 LF of 6 & 8″ gravity sewer, approximately 10,443 LF of 3″ through 6″ force main, one 200 gpm duplex pumping station, 9 grinder pump stations and related appurtenances.
This project will consist of the purchase and installation of a floating diesel pump which will pump a modified sump within the pond at the compost pad. A new level gage for the determining actual pond depth will be installed at th epond overflow/discharge tube. A flexible line will need to be installed on the pump discharge to tie into the existing 6″ PVC discharge line exiting the pond. The discharge line out of the valve vault will take two underground routes. One will run north along the western edge of the compost pad. It will be 6″ schedule 80 PVC pipe which will run about 1100 feet. It will have a fire hydrant installed in it within 15 feet of the valve vault. Th eother discharge will run east along the southern edge of the compost pad. This line will be 4″ schedule 80 PVC pipe which will run about 400 feet. This line will have a “stub up” every 80-90′ of line. The 4″ schedule 802 PVC stub up will come above ground to a valve and a quick connect fitting with cap on the dischargd side of the valve. There will be a total of 4 stub up connections.
