Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 705 linear feet of 6-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main using traditional trench installation techniques along Westhall Avenue, 155 linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main using traditional trench installation techniques across Westhall Avenue and supply and install 275 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE Directional Drill water main along Westhall Avenue. Also included with the project are the installation of 1 fire hydrant and the transfer, renewal and relocation of 23 customer services. (See supplementary specifications for additional details). HDPE pipe will be supplied by the contractor. All other pipe and pipe appurtenances will be supplied by Louisville Water Company.

The Division of Abandoned Mine Lands wishes to receive bids on the Jerry Collins Project. The site is located approximately one mile southwest of the Printer Post Office on Kentucky on Ky. Route 122 in Floyd County. The site is near the community of Martin on the Martin 7.5¿ Quadrangle at lat. 37o31¿28¿ ¿ long. 82o45¿13¿.
The proposed construction plans address a landslide caused by subsurface drainage from old deep mine works. The slide threatens the Jerry Collins home. Toe of slide is currently less than twenty-five (25¿) feet from the residence. The slide is pushing against a utility building located between the landslide and the home. The site is located off of KY468 on Davidson Hill Road, approximately 16.8 miles in a Northeasterly direction from the junction of US 23 and US 119 in Pikeville. Latitude = 37^38¿57¿, Longitude = 82^21¿26¿.
This project originated from a complaint concerning a small landslide located above the county road and adjacent to a family cemetery. There are two portals located on the site as well. There are some minor drainage issues from the water coming from the portals. Some of the water is coming from surface runoff due to the steep hillsides at the project site. Meece Hall Lobby & Restroom Renovation,Somerset Community College

The project consists of the renovation of the front lobby and auditorium of Meece Hall.
The lobby consists of the replacement of both the interior and exterior window walls,
new wood paneling on walls, new doors to other corridors, new lighting, new ceiling
and new terrazzo inset in existing floor. The restroom renovation includes bringing the
restroom up to code and the replacement of all interior finishes and toilet accessories.
Mechanical work consists of replacement of exhaust fans. Plumbing consists of carrier
replacements, relocation of lavatories in one restroom and all new fixtures throughout.
Electrical work includes demolition of existing light fixtures and misc. work. New light
fixtures and lighting controls will be installed in both spaces. Additional fire alarm
devices will be included.
Contract 18 will consist of the construction of approximately 12,000 linear feet of 4, 3 and 2 inch waterlines and the installation of one (1) hydropneumatic pump station
