This project provides for the construction of a 3.5 million gallon per day pumping station, construction of approximately 1,466 linear feet of 16-inch force main, construction of approximately 111 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer, two manholes, landscaping, fencing, and other miscellaneous appurtenant work as indicated on the plans. The project is located at 405 Mockingbird Valley Road, Louisville, KY 40207
Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 1270 linear feet of 8-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main using traditional trench installation techniques Meyers Lane between Dixie Highway and Christie Avenue, 330 linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main using traditional trench installation techniques along Meyers Lane and supply and install 60 linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 restrained joint ductile iron water main pulled through 16 inch steel casing pipe, supply and install 52 linear feet of jack and bore 16-inch casing pipe. Also included with the project are the installation of 3 fire hydrants, the transfer, renewal and relocation of 34 customer services. Pipe and pipe appurtenances will be supplied by Louisville Water Company, except for items for jack and bore.

The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consists of construction of certain wastewater treatment plant improvements consisting of but not limited to the construction of a new concrete circular scraper-type clarifier and equipment with controls, a new concrete clarifier influent splitter box with weir gates and piping, a new concrete sand filter divider wall, miscellaneous yard piping and valves, site lighting and electrical, new exterior light fixtures, and miscellaneous items. Also included are all associated piping, mechanical, and electrical as shown on the drwaings ad described in the specifications.

The Renovate 4th Floor Sanders Brown Center project is a renovation of the 5,540 S.F. suite within the 13,350 S.F. fourth floor, and 2,300 S.F. of the 9,200 S.F. Mechanical Penthouse in the University of Kentucky Sanders Brown Research Facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Total existing building square footage is 62,590 S.F. The work consists of demolition of exiating finishes, partitions, and building systems and construction of new partitions, installation of new finishes, building systems, and labroatory items as required to create new animal care laboratories. New finishes include resinous floor, epoxy painted gypsum board, concrete masonry unit partitions, epoxy painted gypsum board ceilings, and suspended ceiling systems. New building components include laboratory casework, and laboratory equipment, including a cage wash unit, sterilizers, and biological safety cabinets. Installation of new building systems include new air handling unit, chiller, and rooftop mounted exhaust units.
Roof improvements to the middle school gymnasium. Application of coated spray polyurethane foam roofing, coated spray polyurethane foam re-coat, and miscellaneous sheet metal work (new gutters, downspouts, fascia, etc). Some portions of the existing built-up roof system will require removal and replacement due to the presence of subsurface moisture.

The Division of Abandoned Line Lands wishes to receive bids on the
NEACE/AMBURGEY GROUP:
Site 1 (Faye Neace), approximately 3 acres, is located 0.6 miles south of the
confluence of Pads Fork and Fifteenmile Creek, along KY 1067. The work area
consists of a saturated mine bench and a natural drainage channel which released
acid mine drainage. Reclamation activities include the installation of a subsurface
drain along the bench and calcareous rock lined ditches along the outslope. The
existing slit pond, which lies between the ditch channels, will be cleaned at the time of
construction and incorporated into the ditch system, thereby eliminating any water
retention. Access to this site is via a previously disturbed mine bench. A minimal
amount of waste generated will be placed on site. The small cemetery behind the
Neace residence will not be disturbed.
Site 2 (Chantella Amburgey), approximately 1 acre, is located 0.6 miles north-east of
the community of Glomawr, on a ridge top near the head of, and north of Raccoon
Creek. The work area consists of a ridge which has recently developed mountain
breaks as the result of a coal seam fire. Reclamation activities consist of filling the
mountain breaks with pea gravel and then grading and revegetating the area. Access
is via an existing utility road. For continued project description see Special Conditions.

The project consists of the construction of a new 30′ x 60′ post frame storage building
constructed on a prepared site. The building shall be post frame to be engineered to

in concrete, metal plate connected wood trusses connected directly to the support
posts and stub posts supported by a wood girder on the open side and secondary
framing components consisting of wood roof purlins, wall girts. Exterior will be preformed
and pre-painted metal panels connected to the building frame to achieve load
transfer from sheathing to building frame through a diaphragm action. The roof will
drain to gutters and downspouts that will be connected to underground drainage pipes
run to daylight. The building is divided into (4) 15 foot wide bays, each bay has a
manual sectional overhead door, three bays will have a 4″ gravel floor, and one bay
will have a concrete floor and liner panels covering insulated walls and ceilings.

The project involves new construction of an approximately 5,800 square foot building. The primary structural systems are load bearing Insulated Concrete Form walls and metal stud load bearing walls. The roof consists of standing seam steel panels on Structural Insulated Panels bearing on Laminated Veneer Lumber perlins and steel joist girders. Openings in the exterior include aluminum framed storefronts, sectional overhead garage doors, skylights and hollow metal doors and frames. Steel siding is the exterior cladding material for the building. The interior finishes include ceramic tile, polished concrete, painted gypsum wall board, resilient wall base, and acoustical panels ceilings. The mechanical system will include a high efficiency heat pump with heat recovery for fresh air intake. Electric unit heaters will be used in the garage portion of the building. The rest rooms include convential fixtures and a shower unit in both mens and womens. In addition to building electric service, a generator transfer switch, and IT wiring and components are included. Alternate bids include installation of radiant floor heat piping and installation of an additional parking lot.
