The owner invites the following bid on the related project. The project consists of the construction of approximately 13,800 SF new library building on one floor level, concrete slab on grade, stel framed wall, and truss roof system, as well as a seperate Bookmobile Garage of 560 SF of similar construction, as shown on the contract documents prepared by Preason Peters Architects PLC, Poage Structural Engineers, Shrout Tate Wilson Consulting Engineers; Dated 21 October 2011. The scope of work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following areas. The Contruction of a poured concrete foundation; with concrete slab on grade; structural steel beam framing; cold-formed metal stud infill wall framing, prefabricated engineered light-gage metal roof trusses and FRT plywood roof deck, with fiberglass shingle roofing; aluminum perfinished continuous gutters, gutter guards, downspouts, and accessory flashings. There will be a prefinished metal suspended canopy as well.
Contractor to furnish, labor and materials for the demolition of the existing space and reconstruct the same space into a functioning suite for small animal surgery.

Replace approximately 12,000 +/- LF of 8″ VCP Gravity Sewer with 8″ PVC Gravity Sewer 61 Manhole Replacements. WWTP Upgrades. The Engineers estimate is $1,200,000.
The project involves the development of a new campus plaza space across from Memorial Coliseum on the Avenue of Champions on the University of Kentucky Campus in Lexington, Kentucky Specific areas of work include demolition =, site clearing, earthwork, site drainage, paving, walks, turf and grasses,exterior plantings, freestanding walls, site furnishings, site lighting, and other related site improvements.The project will also involve coordination with the Artist commissioned to fabricate and install a newsculpture which will serve as a focal point for teh plaza. Specific responsibilities of this contract will include the provision of footings to support the installation of the sculpture. The project will also include one additive alternate and one allowance. Additive Alternate #1 involves the construction of two (2) additional stone veneer seatwalls along the main walks flanking the plaza and as indicated on the drwaings and specifications. The allowance provides for construction of temporary sidewalks if needed as determined by the Landscape Architect and/or owner.
The project scope includes demolition of existing building consisting of CMU wall construction, steel joists, roof and roof deck concrete slab on grade construction, foundation removal.Hazardous material abatement will be taking place under separate contract, except for roofing materials. All material removed from demoiltion of existing building will need to be disposed of in an approved landfill.

The City of Frankfort will receive bids for slip-lining and existing 74″ x 52″ multiplate corrugated metal pipe culvert located at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue and Rancho Drive in Frankfort, Kentucky with 71″ x 47″ GA. Polymer Pre-Coat Max Flow pipe or approved equal culvert. All eligible bidders must present references for a minimum of three similar slip-line projects.

The project provides for all labor, materials, and equipment to provide for the removal and treatment of invasive plant and tree species within Brown Park in the City of St. Matthews, Jefferson County, Kentucky. The site is located at the corner of Kresge Way and Browns Lane, just north of I-64 and neighboring the Baptist East Hospital Campus. The effort involves the removal of approximately 270 trees ranging in size from 2” to 45” and clearing approximately 13 acres of invasive plant growth.The species involved include but are not limited to Bush honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii, morrowii, and tartarica), Japanese honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica), Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus attissima), White Mulberry (Morus Alba), Privet (Ligustrum vulgare, ovalifolium), Multiflora Rose (Rosa muliflora) English Ivy (Hedera helix) Winter Creeper (Euonymus fortunei), Burning Bush (Euonymus alata) and others in the designated areas.
The work consists of installation of approximately 2,661 feet of a 16″ C-905, PVC, SDR-18 Water Main, 1,130 feet of a 12″ PVC, SDR 21 Water Main, and all necessary appurtenances for installation of the water mains.

St. Matthews Interceptor I and I Rehabilitation Project
The project consists of CIPP lining of 18″ (220 LF), 21″ (438 LF) and 24″ (6,325 LF) pipes. Additional items include Manhole Epoxy Coating (10 EA), Point Repairs, Chimney Seals and other related miscellaneous items.
The project scope includes the renovation of a 1 story warehouse with an approximate total are of 100,000 SF of existing building. The exterior walls are precast concrete panels, steel frame with slab-on-grade. Roofs are ballasted EPDM over an original BUR over gypsum deck over steel bar joists. The entire roof deck to be replaced with corrugated metal and SBS modified roof system. Approximately 28,900 SF of the interior of the building will have a new mezzanine constructed from structural steel and hollow core plank system. This area will house relocated FCPS support programs. Site work includes minor regrading with new asphalt, paving resurfacing, site lighting, storm water utilities. MEP includes variable refrigerant HVAC system, all-electric power and modifications to a full fire suppression system. The adjacent building will have minor improvements made as a result of the work on this property. Renovation activities may begin December 2011 after the required approvals are received. The work must be substantially complete no later than November 2012.
The Alley that runs from W. Burnett Avenue to W. Ormsby Avenue, between S. 2nd St. and S. 3rd St.. The CONTRACTOR shall accomplish substantial completion of the Project on or before December 31, 2011.

This green demonstration project involves the construction of two articulating concrete block pavement strips along Adams Street just off of Exit 7 on Interstate 64. This project includes connections of the pavement strips to existing drainage structures, repair of sidewalks, curbing and any pavement damaged due to construction.
The project consists of the construction of approximately 1,610 LF of 60″ sewer (20 LF of which will be installed by tunneling beneath the CSX railroad spur), 20 LF of 48″ sewer with bulkhead, 12 LF of 96″ sewer with bulkhead, a diversion structure, influent gate structure, return flow gate structure, four (4) manhole tees and associated asphalt pavement repair.

The work consists of: The Fire Alarm System will be removed and upgraded per the 2007 Kentucky Building Code with Current Revisions, the 2009 International Building Code, and the 2010 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, NFPA72 at the Breathitt Regional Juvenile Detention Center, located at 2725 Highway 30W, Jackson, KY. An intelligent, addressable fire alarm system shall be provided in accordance with National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code requirements as well as the requirements of the State Fire Marshall’s Office. The system will comply with all manufacturers’ requirements and shall report compatible alarm signals to the remote central system via an externally mounted dialer. The fire alarm system will monitor any and all sprinkler system flow switches, tamper switches, and duct mounted smoke detectors as well as heat detectors and smoke detectors.
