The approximate area of work is 60,000SF not including the area of the stepped parapets. The work shall be inclusive of all accessories and miscellaneous work required to provide a complete roofing system as specified herein. All work required shall be executed in strict compliance with all regulatory codes and/or governing agencies with jurisdiction over this project. This project includes Selective Roof Replacement at the Kentucky History Center located at 100 Broadway Street, Frankfort, KY. The Project includes partial removal of the existing two-ply modified bitumen roof and removal of wet polyisocyanurate and fiberboard cover board and tapered insulation over an existing 1-1/2″ metal deck. The Project also includes removal and replacement of drainage trough materials and scuppers at metal roof areas. Trough replacement materials include polyiso insulation board, dens deck cover board, ice and water shield membrane, and a fully adhered PVC roof membrane cap sheet. Roof scope also includes a minimum amount of misc. gutter and downspout work, new metal copings at the curved parapet wall at the front entry, and new parapet coping joint covers throughout, walkway pads, and new roofing, base flashing and metal flashings at mechanical equipment curbs, liquid flashing at roof penetrations. A twenty year “no dollar limit” Manufacturer’s Roof Warranty on all work is required in addition to a 2 year roofing installer’s guarantee.
