This is an interior renovations project of approximately 4980 square feet at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital Pavilion H, Floor 4 Pediatrics nursing unit. Project limits are 8 patient rooms and associated staff charting and hand-washing areas. This portion of the project also includes a limited level of renovations to the existing nursing support core. Phasing will be in multiple parts, allowing for a patient occupancy of no less than two rooms per zone for the duration of the project. The scope of work shall be primarily flooring, wall and ceiling finishes, as well as upgrades to room identification, plumbing, lighting and electrical fixtures, and door hardware.

This is an interior renovation project of approximately 2191 square feet at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital Pavilion H, Floor 4 Pediatrics Nursing unit. Renovate Unit Nurses Station HA400WA, Corridor HA400N5 and Corridor HA400W3 per Construction Drawings entitled Pediatric Critical Care Circle Blue Desk and dated 2015-02-06. The scope includes but is not limited to the removal of existing doors, casework, flooring, ceiling and miscellaneous finishes. The scope further includes the refurbishment of existing door frames and installation of new doors, casework, ceiling and miscellaneous finishes.

The University of Kentucky desires the services of an experienced and highly qualified construction management firm to provide “FULL SERVICE” construction management on the proposed project. The Construction Manager (CM) selected will become a responsible, cooperative and contributing member of the Owner’s professional team for the design and construction of the project. The Construction Manager (CM) will provide assistance and advice and provide management services to the Owner and design consultants to assure the project is completed within defined budget, program and schedule.
The proposal shall include pricing for all phases as described herein.
The ultimate total scope of this project is $265 million, with a total maximum construction budget of approximately $212,000,000 to include costs for Construction Management Services as well as for the award of trade contracts. The initial Phase 1 of this project is $165 million with a maximum construction budget of $131,000,000.
This phase will include the construction of the core and shell and fit-out of the research facility to the limits of the budget.

This project will construct approximately 8, 720′ of 8″ waterline, 225′ of 1 O” horizontally
directionally drilled (HOD) waterline, a Subsurface Utility Engineer (SUE) investigation to allow
safe installation of the new waterline, clearing and grubbing to allow the SUE investigation and
safe installation, and various other miscellaneous water related items.
SANITARY SEWER PORTION:
This project will construct approximately 275′ of 8″ gravity sanitary sewer, 175′ of 8″ HOD gravity
sanitary sewer, 35′ of 6″ force main, formally abandon various items, place tow (2) new
manholes, replace approximately six (6) combination sewage valves, conduct an odor control
pilot study and provide appropriate odor control facilities, abandon an existing lift station,
construct a new lift station, and various other miscellaneous sanitarv sewer related items.

1. Work consists of all labor, materials, services, and equipment to install approximately 31,500 square feet of 2-ply SBS modified bitumen roofing, over 1/2″ cover board, over existing gravel surfaced 3-ply built-up roofing. Concealed wet areas, where indicated, shall be cut out and replaced with new insulation.
2. Work consists of all labor, materials, services, and equipment to replace approximately 2,300 square feet of standing seam metal roofing. Select areas of metal siding shall be replaced, along with new mechanical wall louvers.
3. Sheet metal copings, trim, gutters, and downspouts shall be removed and replaced with new.

This Project is to return the four Kinkead Hall exterior entrance doors and entrance systems to the original architectural design and in excellent repair.
The Project is to remove and dispose of the existing 2001 Tremco roof insulation and membrane from the top elevation (Area 1 & 2) of the Central Heating Plant #2 located at 598 South Upper Street in Lexington, KY. The project will include the preparation of the concrete slab to facilitate the proper installation of the new roof membrane. The new membrane will be a one-ply Hyload 150E membrane mopped to the slab using Tremco THERMastic SEB modified bitumen. Tremco THERMastic SEBS will be required adhesive for the project.
