The contract will be for the construction of a stream and wetland mitigation site located on the Higginson-Henry Wildlife Management Area in Union County, Kentucky. The contractor will be responsible for the grading of 5 restored stream channels on-site and in-stream modification of 6 existing stream channels. Grading will include the installation of several different in-stream structures and placement of gravel material in restored riffles. Additional site grading will include the installation of groundwater dams, grading historically modified wetland areas to proposed elevations, and removal and plugging of drain tiles in an active agricultural field. The contractor will be responsible for all sediment and erosion control measures. The contractor will be responsible for installation of live cuttings, bare root trees and containerized trees.

Some spaces will receive a drop acoustical ceiling and minor space reconfigurations will be made to other spaces to accommodate the Undergraduate Service’s needs. A student lounge is also included in this design package and includes new finishes and a wall mounted TV. The UK preferred schedule of operations is that the first floor will be completed prior to any work commencing on the second floor.

This project is for the renovation of rooms 304, 305, 306, 307, and 308 and includes abatement and installation of new flooring in the corridor of Erikson Hall. These rooms will be updated to have new floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, new electrical and data, HVAC and furniture. The new configuration will consist of three classrooms and five offices.
This project renovates the restrooms on floors 1 through 3 of Bradley hall. These renovations are primarily for upgrades to meet the current ADA and Kentucky code standards and to provide the students and staff with improved facilities. The restroom renovations on the main and second floors are the base bid and the third floor will be bid as an alternate #1. The first floor will become a female-only restroom and the second floor will become male-only. The third floor restroom will be a female restroom. The work will include; demolition, reconfiguration, new fixtures, accessories, and finishes. The shower area on each floor will be converted into a janitor/storage closet. In addition, one existing valve is being replaced on the domestic water main and one new valve is being installed on the water line to Kinkead and Breckinridge halls.
