This project will address two landslides that are affecting multiple residents and a county road in Johnson County. The project will construct pile & lagging walls to stop the movement of the slides along a county road and a residence. The material below the walls will be regraded to a stable configuration. Drainage controls will be improved and installed to collect and transport water away from the reclaimed areas. Onsite waste areas are designated. They are areas that have already been filled by residential development. Trees will be cut only in one unstable slide area; no trees will be cut outside the unstable areas.
