Design information indicates a total of 182 customer service renewals, 2 customer service discontinues and 35 meter exchanges.
Project Description:
Description and location of Project: This project will upgrade 3 Condenser units in biosolids dryers systems and will remove/replace water piping. Project is located in the Main Equipment Building at the Morris Forman Water Quality Treatment Center (MFWQTC) located at 4522 Algonquin Parkway Louisville KY 40211.
The Kenneth Lewis AML Reclamation Project consists of a landslide impacting a residence, and two sheds. Drainage from pre-law mining is lubricating the slide and has caused movement and cracks in the outslope immediately below one shed and has caused material to move behind the other shed and the residence. Slide material will be removed and hauled to a disposal area and a non-reinforced concrete wall will be installed at the toe of the slope below the upper shed Subdrains will be installed to control subsurface drainage and existing ditches will be improved. A sinkhole adjacent to Mr. Lewis residence will be filled with Class III Rock. Additional drainage measures will be incorporated as necessary and all disturbed areas will be re-vegetated. Silt control measures at each site shall be installed and remain in effect until construction is completed at that site. Drainage controls for these sites shall consist variously of Class II/III ditches, gabion backfill, etc. Bituminous repair, including roadway stone, has been factored into the contract. Traffic control will be maintained throughout the project. Revegetation of the sites, including agricultural limestone, fertilizer, mulch and seed will be done according to standard AML design specifications. The project consists of exterior repairs; removal of existing glass block and replace with new aluminum frame and insulated glazing or exterior wall system; repair existing concrete and EIFS wall panel system and paint. Provide new metal components or rework existing; e.g. metal counter flashings, gutters, downspouts and fascia and paint.
The project consists of roof replacement of BUR and Shingles. 1) BUR: Remove existing roof membrane system down to existing roof deck. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over base layer insulation, tapered insulation where indicated and cover board insulation. Provide crickets where indicated. 2) Shingles: Remove existing shingles and underlayment down to roof deck. Remove all existing nails from roof deck. Install ventilated nailbase insulation panels, self-adhering underlayment over entire roof area, and new shingles as per manufacturer’s recommendations. 3) All Roofs: Provide new metal components; e.g. metal counter flashings, roof drain leads, plumbing vent flashings, edge metal, headwall flashings, etc.
The Centralized Laboratory Facility Exterior Wall Renovation Phase VI, located at 100 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky (Franklin County), consist of upgrades and repairs to the exterior walls. The base bid shall consist of work centered around the north and west sides of the facility adjacent to the loading dock area. This work shall include removing and reinstalling, cleaning, and sealant replacement of exterior metal panels. Work on the interior of the wall system shall include sheathing, repair, liquid applied waterproofing, and spray foam insulation installation. As part of the overall scope of this work, general demolition and repair is required on the interior, exterior, and its replacement. The work of this project shall require access to the interior of the lab facility and will require security clearance and card access for all employees accessing the site.
A. This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 331 North Stewarts Lane, Danville, Kentucky 40422. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls on C.M.U. stem walls on poured concrete spread footings, with vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles. Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0”, typical bearing wall and interior partitions to be 10’-1”. There is to be no mechanical, electrical, or plumbing work installed above the truss bearing (the attic) unless required by the Contract Documents (i.e. vent through roof or weather head). The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The Work also includes a small concrete parking area (1 space, accessible). Consult project documents for information regarding connecting to site utilities. The project consists of several repairs and upgrades to the structural frame and the foundations of the Hall of Champions Pavilion. The structure is an octagon-shaped wood-framed pavilion constructed in 1992. It is approximately 50 feet wide and 25 feet tall to the roof peak. The construction is similar to a “pole barn” system, where wood posts are fixed in a concrete base, like flagpoles, and the rest of the building frame is supported both vertically and horizontally by these pole columns.

Description and location of Project: The demolition of existing fence, posts, asphalt pavement, and aggregate base will be followed by the benching and compacting of soil to establish contours and provide slope stabilization for the connection of the levee at the 18th Street Closure. Site access is north of Interstate 64, located northeast of the intersection of N. 18th St. and Northwestern Parkway, Louisville, KY.
The Perry North Portals Group AML Reclamation Project is located roughly along and to either side of KY Highway 80, between the junction of KY 80 with KY 1146 North in northern Perry County and the junction of KY 80 with KY 2102 in Knott County. The project will result in approximately 6.2 acres of disturbance, and will include the closure of ten (10) abandoned pre-law underground mine openings, the correction of two (2) drainage issues related to underground mining, and the elimination of one (1) group of hazardous mine structures (footer pylons). or continued project description see Special Conditions.
