1. The Work of this Project includes renovation work to provide the following for this existing building on the campus: a. Renovate Entrance Lobby, and Corridor b. Renovate two large restrooms c. Renovate two single fixture restrooms d. Renovate existing office areas to provide new Student Center e. Renovate the existing Art Gallery f. Renovate the existing Behen Community Room (Add Alternate No. 1) g. Replace existing folding panel partition system between the Art Gallery and the Community Room. h. Complete new fire alarm system for entire building 2. Renovation of each of the above areas will include the following work: a. Miscellaneous Demolition b. New interior finishes. c. Mechanical and Electrical renovations
1. This project primarily consists of the following scope of work: -Replace (9) existing air handling units and return fans. -Provide (1) new air handling unit with split DX condensing unit. -Provide (2) new packaged rooftop units. -Replace (8) existing coil circulating pumps. -Replace (4) existing steam duct humidifiers. -Provide (4) new VAV terminal units with electric heat. -Update temperature controls to support all new systems. 2. The project also includes modification of existing piping, valves and controls, as needed to facilitate the installation, startup and commissioning of new equipment. 3. The project requires coordinating phasing for AHU replacement, with multiple system drain and fill occurrences. The project requires coordination for crane lifts and associated city permits. The project also requires coordination with ongoing roof replacement project, under separate contract with Bri-Den Roofing.
Work of the Project includes: 1. Full tear off of existing low slope roof systems and replacement at Cottages 106, 108, 109 and 110. 2. Construction of a new insulated low wall in front of the existing clerestory finished with new aluminum wall panels. 3. Work of Bid Alternate 1 includes permanent removal of existing ornamental steel vent stacks with provisions for maintaining and/or reinstallation of the existing PVC vent pipe. Refer to Section 012000 Price, Payment and Bid Alternates. 4. All other work shown on the Contract Drawings and/or included in the Project Manual.
The work includes providing and installing a mechanical sewage screening and bagging system in a concrete basin, along with a manual bypass screen, a plant water system, and miscellaneous sewer system improvements at the State Nursing Facility in Glasgow, Kentucky. Major work items will include procuring and installing the automated screen, precast basin, non-potable water system, and enclosure building, and pouring a concrete floor slab, pavement removal and replacement, piping connections, providing appropriate electrical service, start-up and commissioning services.

The work to be performed consists of:
Construction of a new one story Three Bedroom Duplex and parking area, approximate square footage is 3,259 SF. Work includes providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods: including all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals as necessary for their completion.
The renovation project for the DEP Labs to be performed at the Centralized Laboratory, 100 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky is a renovation and reconfiguration of three lab spaces and the construction of one new space in an open office area. The scope shall include reconfiguration of existing cabinetry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Three of the four labs are within existing lab spaces. The fourth lab space shall be constructed in an area that is part of an existing open office. This area will include construction of new perimeter walls, new acoustical ceiling, and new flooring. New plumbing, mechanical and electrical shall also be provided as part of this fourth space. Interior finishes for all four spaces shall be upgraded to match adjacent spaces.
This project consists of the construction of a new parking lot for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s fleet vehicles. The lot will provide 127 new parking spaces with an additional 68 spaces as an alternate bid. A small concrete sidewalk connection to the existing walk along Sower Boulevard will also be constructed, as well as any and all necessary stormwater components, including a 5,000 (+/-) square foot detention basin along the west side of the property. The proposed development and land disturbance activity is located on state property in Franklin County, Kentucky off Sower Boulevard near the existing Centralized Laboratory Facility. Approximately 2.75 acres is proposed to be disturbed during construction operations. The latitude and longitude are 38.18842° and -84.846607° respectively. The natural soil on-site consists of clay and silt with minor amounts of sand and gravel.

Remove existing roofing, roofing base flashings, and roof insulation to existing roof deck (concrete). Provide new roof insulation and new roofing and associated work and sheet metal work, including but not limited to, work as indicated and as necessary for a complete, weather-tight, fully functional and operational and finished installation, inspected and fully warranted by the roofing manufacturer. In conjunction with roofing work, remove and reinstall existing metal mansard roofing around perimeter as needed to install new roofing. Sitework: Exterior storm drainage work near existing entrance area. Student Center Building: Repair of weathered reinforced concrete structure below exterior elevated walkway.

The work to be bid consists of:
Construction of approximately 17,000 linear feet of 4 inch waterline and approximately 34,000 linear feet of 3”. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the construction of the waterline, appurtenances and reclamation. Project will include a 200 GPM Pump Station and appurtenances as an alternate addition. Time of completion of the contract is 180 calendar days.
This project includes removal of all existing brick pavers, sand, bituminous setting bed, waterproofing, lightweight concrete and any other materials to structural deck of the north terrace of the Kentucky Capitol Annex building. Brick pavers are to be salvaged, cleaned and stored. New lightweight insulating concrete, waterproofing, flashing, bituminous setting bed, expansion joints and sealant will be installed, and salvaged brick pavers will be reset. New trench drains will be installed and tied into existing drainage lines. Limestone steps to the lawn will be removed and/or reset as required, cleaned and joints sealed. Under an Alternate, limestone piers, railings, and balusters will be repaired or replaced as required, cleaned and sealed. Granite wall facades will be cleaned and sealed.
