The proposed work consists of the restoration and enhancement, using Natural Channel Design techniques, of approximately 25,655 linear feet of existing stream including a portion of the Licking River and reaches of five of its unnamed tributaries (Tributaries B, D, E, F, and G), as well as portions of Cassidy Creek and reaches of six of its tributaries (Tributaries C, 1, 2, 3, 4, and Coon Creek). Tasks to be performed in order to achieve project goals include reshaping of existing channels; re-establishment of new channels with stable dimensions; construction of in-stream structures; preparation of soil for seeding; native planting and seeding; installation of erosion control fabric and mulch; and harvesting, transporting, installing, and maintaining live stake and vegetative materials. Cassidy Creek, Coon Creek, the Licking River, and their tributaries are first through fifth order streams with ephemeral, intermittent, and perennial flow regimes. The restoration project involves buffer enhancement of approximately 9,225 feet of perennial stream on the left bank of the Licking River; rehabilitation of approximately 1,791 feet of perennial stream on Cassidy Creek; re-establishment of approximately 512 feet and rehabilitation of 1550 feet of perennial stream on Coon Creek; and re-establishment, rehabilitation, buffer enhancement, and/or preservation of approximately 6,302 feet of intermittent stream and 6,275 feet of ephemeral stream; for a total of approximately 25,655 feet. Restoration will include in-stream structures such as log vane/rootwad combinations, woody debris toe protection, log and rock steps, and constructed riffles as well as vegetation of the stream banks and establishment of a forested riparian corridor along the stream.

Building Renovation / Expansion of existing Adron Doran University Center. Areas in the project include new national venue restaurants, campus wide catering kitchen, a plating kitchen on the third floor, large ballroom with folding wall partitions, campus data center, admissions center, theater, Student Government Offices, Dean of Student Offices, minor upgrades to Bookstore and office suites, additional meeting rooms on third floor. Building structure is concrete frame on existing building with concrete piles and grade beams. A new brick and limestone façade is being replaced on the existing building. The new building addition structure consists of concrete pile foundation with the building frame being concrete on first and second floors and steel frame with fireproofing at the third floor. Exterior walls will be light gage metal stud with masonry veneer. The roof assembly is a T.P.O. membrane roof with polyisocyanurate insulation. Exterior openings include aluminum windows, aluminum storefront and aluminum curtainwall. Interior is made up of light gage metal stud interior partitions. The finishes include carpet tile, luxury vinyl tile, rubber tile, porcelain tile and base, interior wood casework with solid surface counter tops, wood veneer wall covering in several lobby areas. Lighting in facility will be LED lighting throughout. The building HVAC will have a 4 pipe variable air volume system. It will consist of air cooled steam to hot water heat exchangers connected to the universities control steam system. The air handling units for the existing building will be located in the existing mechanical room and penthouses. All spaces will be provided with voice annunciated fire alarm system. A roof mounted transformer will provide back-up power
