The construction documents identify various improvements, additions and/or replacements of components to the building’s systems to enhance and improve the audio/visuals systems for the conference center at General Butler State Park. Some locations include addition of power services and replacement of lighting to aid the audio/video systems capabilities.
The Division of Facilities Management is soliciting bids for septic system improvements at the Otter Creek Outdoor Recreation Area Campground, 850 Otter Creek Park Road, Brandenburg, KY 40108. The work generally/approximately consists of the following: Installation of a 37,500 SF sewage lagoon, 255 LF of 6’ wide leaching chamber, 4-3000 gallon septic tanks, 1-7,500 gallon dual-pump dosing tank, 1130 LF of 4′ gravity effluent line, 776 LF of 2′ force main and other appurtenances.
The project involves the complete removal of the existing HVAC system. This will include removal of the existing hot water boiler system, expansion tanks, housekeep pads, circ. Pumps, air separator and controls.
In this project will include the installation of three new VRF systems, mechanical ventilation system which includes an energy recovery unit, a dedicated make up air unit, ventilation air ductwork and the installation of the refg. Piping also, a new rooftop HVAC unit to air condition the Drill Hall. This contractor will need to make all of the interlocks between equipment for controls. Complete the installation of the new windows and doors so security for the building is not breeched.
If the add alternate #1 is accepted install polished concrete floors in all areas that now have VCT floor covering.
This project also has an allowance of $47,000.00 to expand the existing DDC control system to accept the new equipment and schedules.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Project consists of constructing approximately 40,000 LF of sanitary sewer force
main, one sewage lift station, and approximately 1,400 LF of water line to serve the new Belfry Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project includes HVAC and electrical systems additions to add six welding booths to the existing masonry shop at Northpoint Training Center, Burgin, KY. Total renovated area is approximately 2,500 sq ft. HVAC improvements include adding three welding exhaust recirculating filtration systems, and local exhaust arms for the six booths. Electrical improvements include a new power panel in the welding shop, welder and handheld grinder power circuits, and miscellaneous lighting in the shop.

This project consists of extending a non-reinforced concrete block type II retaining wall with backfill for 66 feet to the south of the existing wall. This should eliminate active sloughing of the hillside where AML placed fill material during the original work at this site. Subdrains will be installed to control the water coming from the hillside. Roadway stone has been added if needed to facilitate access. Structure removal has been added to remove and replace a stairwell and also in case the rear porch is in the way.
Any waste generated will be placed in an approved waste area close to the project area. Culvert pipes will be installed to facilitate the waste area designated. Sediment will be controlled in all disturbed areas and for the duration of construction efforts. No trees will be disturbed with these construction efforts. All disturbed areas will be revegetated to standards set by the Abandoned Mine Lands specifications.
The Project consists in general of the following:
Remove six boilers, one steam dishwasher, three steam kettles and associated piping and electric services. Furnish and install in construction phases three modular hot water boilers, an electric dishwasher, a natural gas kettle, an electric hot water dispenser and associated piping and electric services. Work is located in Oakwood Center Building 600.

Description and location of Project: This unit based construction order is for the installation of a pipe and drain system in front of 10829 & 10831 Hobbs Station Road in Metro Council District 18.

The Engineer’s Construction Cost Estimate for this project is between $50,000.00 to $110,000.00.
