to include, but not limited to; General Trades, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Aquatics
Project consists of selective demolition of the existing Margie Helm Library Building. Full
demolition of the 1960s addition on the west side ofo the bilding. Selective demolition of the existing
1931 building including partitions, finishes, and cutting and capping of utilities as indicted on the
drawings. Selective site clearing as indicated on the drawings. Will include Division 1, 2, 3, and 31.

This project consists of the creation of a secure vestibule at the main entry at the
high school, including a security office and waiting area. Demolition and/or adjustment to existing
conditions will be required to accommodate new construction. The primary construction of the new
spaces will consist of aluminum storefront framing and glazing, flooring and ceilings as well as
HVAC, electrical, communications and fire alarm modifications.
This project shall remove a small portion of concrete topping and concrete in a corridor of a fully occupied nursing home. A temporary corridor path shall be provided as shown on drawings to be used during the course of construction. A dust barricade and dust extraction system will be required. Work will be scheduled for least disturbance to occupants and length of disruption. Floor shall be patched with specified material, and new vinyl tile and rubber base shall be applied. Two existing nurses stations shall be removed and replaced with new plastic laminated custom casework and solid surface countertops. There will be minor amount of electrical work required for re-installing existing receptacles in the casework. The extent of concrete replacement is approximately 200 sf. The new nurses stations are generally the same size and location of existing.
The EIFS system of the south façade of Freedom Hall, Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky Venues, Louisville, Kentucky has become unattached to the underlying substrate due to wind. There is also a large section of the EIF system that was removed because it became so un-attached that it is to be replaced with a new system.

The project involves replacing sanitary risers in Telford dormitory on Eastern Kentucky
University’s campus in Richmond, Kentucky. The contractor will be required to replace
existing cast iron sanitary piping with new PVC piping for fourteen risers on floors two through
thirteen. All penetrations through the floor must be fire stopped and inspected by a third-party
agency. The scope of work also includes replacement of two, domestic water gate valves with
new ball valves in each plumbing chase.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for project consisting of the water main replacement on S. 41st Street, S. 40th Street and S. 39th Street. Design information indicates the supply and installation of 1,050 +/- linear feet of 24-inch Pressure Class 250 restrained joint ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), the supply and installation of 40 +/- linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main and the supply and installation of 2,325 +/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main. Also included with the project is the installation of 4 fire hydrants and the transfer, renewal, relocation or discontinue of 49 +/- customer services

The work to be performed consists of: kitchen and bathroom upgrades, replacement of two plumbing risers,
HVAC installation, update of two elevator cabs and replacement of storefront.
Work includes providing all items, articles, materials, operations or methods herein listed, mentioned
or scheduled on the Project Documents and / or herein, including all labor, materials, equipment, services and
incidentals as necessary for their completion.

This project scope includes the renovation of an existing building at 1555 Georgetown Road in Lexington,
Kentucky, to house both Fayette County Public School’s STEAM Academy and Success Academy. The existing building was built in 2007 for Imani Baptist Church, but much of the interior was not completed when Fayette County Public Schools purchased the property in 2017. The project includes demolition of
existing structural steel, concrete slabs (elevated and on grade), and CMU stair shafts as well as interior non-load bearing items. It also includes a complete renovation of the interior space, except for the athletics portion, which includes a large gymnasium, running track, locker rooms, and exercise space,
which will largely remain. A new steel-framed second floor supported by new columns and shallow foundations punched through the existing slab on grade will be added to the previously unfinished
sanctuary space, to increase the second floor area. The total gross square footage of the building will be 134,221. Kitchen is to be full sized with a grab-n-go style food court serving area designed to
accommodate approximately 250 students per lunch period and 700 meals daily. Base bid exterior renovations include removal of the existing steeple, a limited number of new doors and windows, a limited area of new cladding, recoating the existing low-slope roofing, adding tubular skylights and premanufactured
aluminum canopies. Bid alternates provide for more extensive exterior renovations of the STEAM and Success Academy entrances. The project adapts the existing parking lot to meet KDE and
FCPS requirements by removing and altering sections to separate the parent/student drop off loop from
the bus loop. Existing wet pipe sprinkler system will be modified for new spaces. New plumbing fixtures, water heaters, domestic hot and cold water, and sanitary piping will be provided throughout. Some
sanitary piping will be reused. Roof leaders will be relocated. New natural gas piping will be provided. Existing service entrances will remain. HVAC shall consist of two-stage, water-source heat pumps served
by a fluid cooler and electric boilers. Dedicated outside air units with energy recovery will provide fresh, conditioned air to the building occupants. Direct digital HVAC controls shall be installed. A bid alternate will provide a geothermal well-field in lieu of the fluid cooler and boilers. New electrical and telecommunications service entrances will be provided. New electrical distribution switchboards and panelboards will be provided throughout to serve new receptacles and LED lighting. Other new electrical systems include fire alarm, security, sound, data/voice, public address, emergency generator, and lighting control systems.
