The work to be bid consists of:
Approximately 6,000 LF of 6” SDR 17 PVC waterline along KY RT 28 West of Buckhorn and interconnecting
with the existing 6” Buckhorn line near the intersection of KY RT 28 and KY RT 2022. All disturbance shall be
returned to the original condition. The bid will also include approximately 600 LF of 6” DR 9 HDPE HDD Line
replacement to the existing 6” waterline running parallel to KY RT 1833 Northwest of the Buckhorn Lake State
Resort Lodge in Perry County, Kentucky. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment and labor
necessary to complete the construction of the waterlines, appurtenances and reclamation. Time of completion
for this contract is 60 calendar days.
The University of Kentucky received bids for Invitation for Bid CCK-2424-20 on 10/09/2019. The bids
submitted pursuant to competitive sealed bidding under KRS45A.080 result in bid price in excess of the
funds available for the purchases. The University of Kentucky project team determined that it is in the
best interest of the project to issue this solicitation under revised specifications and scope of services, as
defined in the attached Post-Bid Addendum No. 1 and the revised Form of Proposal.
In addition, the documents contained in the Bid Package Manual and Invitation for Bid IFB CCK-2424-
20, are incorporated herein by reference including:
The scope of the projects is to remove the existing diffusers form the supply ductwork in the North Hall, install control dampers and new diffusers, and modify the control sequence for existing AHU-6.
Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed, plus incidentals necessary to
complete the work. The project will construct 2.1 miles of multimodal greenway through
downtown Lexington along Vine Street, Main Street, Midland Avenue and Newtown Pike.
The project includes a mixed-use trail; bicycle and pedestrian paths; enhanced streetscaping
and water features; bioswales for storm water management; ADA enhancements to
sidewalks and intersections; and safety enhancements, such as upgraded pedestrian signals,
access control and mid-block crossing improvements.
This project entails replacing the existing 190-ton, air-cooled chiller at the Fayette Regional Juvenile Justice Facility in Lexington, Kentucky. Also included is replacement of the two chilled water circulation pumps and reintegrating the new equipment with the existing building automation system.

This project is generally located at five different flood pump stations(FPS): 5th St FPS,10th St FPS, 17th St FPS, 27th St FPS & 34th St FPS.
All work shall be done in accordance to MSD’s Standard Specifications.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting held for this project. On Tuesday November 12, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at the MSD Main Office located at 700 W. Liberty St., Louisville, KY.
The Engineer’s Construction Cost Estimate for this project is between $ 100,000.00 to $ 200,000.00.

The Project consists of design, permitting and construction of General Aviation Hangars at Blue Grass Airport. While design services will include 4 – 100’x100’ buildings and adjacent office space, the Board will consider how many to construct once construction estimates have been established. One of the hangar sites includes additional architectural design guidelines.
Project consists of the upfit of two (2) existing Mezzanine Level shell spaces, off the North Wing Lobby, to meeting rooms. The work includes, but not limited to metal stud framing, gypsum wall board, suspended acoustical ceilings, finishes and wall protection. Additionally, new male and female toilet rooms will be constructed within the existing Mezzanine Level shell space. Each toilet room with have one (1) accessible toilet compartment, as well as one (1) additional fixture, lavatory counters, ceramic tile, hose bibbs, and floor drains.
The project consists of roof replacement of Steep & Low Sloped Roofs. Low Slope: Remove existing EPDM roof system down to existing deck. Install 2-ply SBS Modified Bitumen roof assembly over rigid insulation. Steep Slope: Remove existing shingle roof system down to existing roof deck. Install 40-year laminate Shingle Roofing system over underlayment, vented nail base insulation to be installed where indicated.Carpentry: Install new siding where indicated at Conference Center.
Painting: Clean, prepare and paint siding & trim as indicated. Drainage: Repair/ Replace gutters as indicated.
