The project scope includes access control, surveillance, and intercom upgrades at
South Edmonson and Kyrock Elementary Schools, Edmonson County 5-6 Center, Edmonson County
Middle School and Edmonson County High School, as well as upgrades to the High School site
lighting. Additionally, the project includes roof top mechanical unit replacement and repairs at
Edmonson County High School and exterior unit replacement at Edmonson County 5-6 Center. Water
fountains and bottle filling stations are to be added to South Edmonson and Kyrock Elementary
Schools, Edmonson County 5-6 Center, Edmonson County Middle School and Edmonson County
High School as a bid alternate. Project also includes adding doors to existing frames at the 5-6 Center
gymnasium for security.

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) hereby requests sealed bids for the materials, supplies,
equipment or services set forth herein, subject to all conditions outlined in this Bid Package
This request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by University of Kentucky to select an offeror and product
for the renovation of Elevators #14 and 15 to support the Chandler Medical Center Main Hospital
and Critical Care Center located in Lexington, KY. This is a full renovation of the elevators as
described in the drawings and specifications provided. The offeror is responsible for providing the
University of Kentucky with a complete turnkey solution.
The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, permit, bonds, and
supervision, and anything else required to complete the projects. The University reserves the right to
furnish materials, supplies, and/or equipment when evaluated to be in the best interest of the
University. It is the intent of this bid to establish a minimum of three (3) contracts which will provide for
everything required to perform work and related services as needed by WKU. There shall be no
guarantee of any quantities of work, only what shall be needed.
Construct a sidewalk along KY 245 (John Rowan Boulevard) beginning near the US 62
(Bloomfield Rd) intersection and extending west to the west side of the US 31E intersection, a
distance of 4837 feet. Project may include two (2) an ADD ALTERNATE BID segments to
extend the project from (1) the west side of the US31E intersection to the west side of Padget
Way and (2) west side of Padget Way to Chambers Boulevard.

Project to renovate the existing UK Hospital PAV A Retail Pharmacy. Project will be multiple
phases and will consist of a total fit up a current shell space, repurposing an existing space
and modifying the front of the Pharmacy to better fit its needs. Trades included will consist of
finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, etc. as per design and specification
documents. Project to be completed in coordination with UK Facilities and Project Managers
as well as any UK system(s) to be integrated.
The project is to fill the existing turf Lot C at the Kentucky Exposition Center, to level the lot out for event use. There is an existing borrow site near Lot C to be used for fill material. The borrow site material is composed primarily of spoils from roadway and utility projects, with some minor rock and concrete material that may also be used as fill. The Owner will provide a Geotechnical Testing Agency to review material; however, the majority of the lot will be turf and it is anticipated that all material in the borrow site will be useable for this purpose.
The project scope includes site clearing and minor demolition, erosion control, storm drainage work, earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete paving, sod and hydroseeding.

The scope of this project includes installation of approximately 540 lft of 6
ft tall chain link security fence, one 28 ft long by 6 ft tall electric slide gate with gate operating
system, electrical power and control to new slide gate, one 40 ft manual double swing vehicle
gate, removal and replacement of approximately 80 lft of damaged 6 ft tall chain link fencing,
removal and replacement of one damaged bollard, pavement marking of a revised
taxiway/taxilane centerline, site restoration, and miscellaneous incidental work items to provide
a complete and functional product .
The goal of this project is to install new flute fill insulation, new cover board and a new PVC membrane over the approximate 6,083 sqft. of original metal roof. Replace all gutter and downspouts, and tie downspouts into the existing piping drains.

The project consists of design and construction of a Service Animal Relief Area
(SARA) in the terminal building of the Blue Grass Airport. Design services will include plans
for the demolition of an existing restroom and reconstruction of the space into a service animal relief
area which meet the FAA guidelines. Further, it will be required to transition the area from a “nonsterile”
area to a “sterile” area within the terminal area, and therefore all permits and requirements for
this process should be included.

This project is for the construction of approximately 2,650 linear feet of cable reinforced, seven (7) foot tall, chain link fence, two (2) chain link sliding gates – powered, two (2) vehicular crash beam barrier / gate units and one pedestrian turnstile at Bluegrass Station – Avon – Fayette County, Kentucky.

The Newtown Campus of Bluegrass Community & Technical College located in Lexington (Fayette County) seeks to expand campus parking with a new asphalt paved lot. There are approx 246 spaces. This project includes curbing, drainage systems and lighting associated with the parking lot.
