The project scope includes a 20,000 square foot addition composed of a new Multipurpose Gym space, Administration Suite, Restrooms, Corridors and Mechanical room. The project also includes major renovation taking place in the kitchen/cafeteria and a partial renovation consisting of new HVAC, finishes and ceilings in the 60s and 70s portion of the building. A new sprinkler system will be installed throughout the entire school and a staircase renovated for life safety.
The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consits of approximately 23,500 lf of 6-inch PVC water main including all related appurtenances.

The renovation of 4 elevators located in 2 different buildings. The Phoenix Building has a 3 car group of traction elevators serving 7 stops. The Police HQ Building includes a simplex hydraulic elevator serving 5 stops. Renovation includes but is not limited to the replacement of the elevator controllers, ropes, hall call buttons, put ladders, car operating panels, updating of elevator wiring and cab interiors, fire alarm modifications and other emergency operating system. This project is divided into a base bid and 1 bid alternate. The base bid includes all work related to the three traction elevators in the Phoenix Building and bid alternate 1 includes all work related to the renovation of the simplex hydraulic elevator in the Police HQ Building.
The project will relocate an existing 12” clay sanitary sewer pipe that is currently located bisecting the middle of the lots 470, 468, 462, 460, 456, 454, 452, 450 and 448 along the west side of Rose lane. The existing sanitary sewer will be intercepted at the property line where 453 Woodland adjoins 470 Rose Lane. The proposed new sewer location will run east along Woodland and then turn to run parallel with Rose lane approximately 5 to 10 feet to the east of the existing Rose Lane sidewalk. The new 12” PVC line will include sanitary manholes as needed to provide connections for future development along Rose lane. All sanitary sewer work will be installed and tested following LFUCG regulations. The new sanitary line will extend to Lot 448 on Rose lane and reconnect with the existing at a manhole on lot 448 Rose Lane. The existing sanitary sewer lines crossing Rose lane in the vicinity of Transylvania Park will also be connected to the new line being installed. Existing Structures on Rose lane will also be reconnected to the relocated sewer line. The installation of the new sanitary line is expected to require trench rock excavation, temporary bypass pumping and restoration of sidewalks and driveways along Rose Lane. There are many utilities in the area and some coordination and possible relocations of water and gas service lines is expected.

Building: 20,788 sq ft, 2-story residence hall built on a partial basement under half of the footprint. The structure consists of wood framed construction with wood siding on concrete foundations. First floor and partial basement concrete slabs on grade.

The scope of construction includes the demolition of the existing fountain, sidewalks, walls, site amenitites and electrical components, the installation of a new fountain, sidewalk pavement with pavers, light poles and fixtures, irrigation, landscaping, retaining walls and seat walls.

Work for the fire unit 6A includes replacement of ceiling and overhead insulation to kitchen, living room and hall. Replacement of wall board, wall insulation and any needed studs in kitchen and one-third of living room. Replacement flooring, baseboards, clan and prearation for paint throughout. This project includes the repairs to the existing exterior stairs at each end of the lodge guest room buildings which were originally constructed in the 1960’s and have suffered deterioration due to exposure of reinforcing steel and embedded metals. The stairs will be repaired by a complete removal of all precast stair treads, replacing those with new precast treads. All existing steel support members shall be cleaned of all existing paint sandblasted and recoated with new high performance paint. All existing hand rails shall be removed, repaired, cleaned and repainted. All railing posts to be sent into new precast stair treads shall be repaired prior to reinstallation.
This contract consists of installing approximately 1,100 linear feet of sidewalk and appurtenances. All bidders must be pre-qualified with the Kentucky Transportation Department.

This project consists of the furnishing and installing of a new pump station, construction of 9,185 LF of gravity sewers, 5,693 LF of parallel force main (total 11,386 LF), surface restoration, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project.

The project will consist of installing drainage control and closing three portals in the edge of the woods behind a residential area and livestock field. A 5 feet high keystone block wall with retaining wall subdrain will be installed behind the Clayton Christian residence.
All material excavated from the portal closure activities, wall construction, and subdrain construction will be wasted in the livestock field behind the Gregory Woods residence.
Three collapsed portals are located along the treeline. These portals will be opened and a wildlife closure (AMLPC9) placed in each of these.
No stream crossings will be required during construction activities.

The project is approximately +- 14,000 s.f. of roofing. All work required shall be executed in strict compliance with all manufacturers recommendations, regulatory codes, and/or governing agencies with jurisdiction over this project.
