Construction of 36 residential units consisting of three buildings located at 1052-1056 Cross Keys Road in Lexington, KY. The buildings will be three levels and be constructed with wood framing, brick veneer, fiber cement siding, asphalt shingle and membrane roof and other materials. General Scope of Work includes excavation and paving, concrete, masonry, metals, rough and finish carpentry, thermal protection, roofing, all finish trades, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and electrical work.

1. Removal of existing HVAC units and line sets
2. Install new mini-split heat pump units, including reworking existing duct work, installation of new line sets and wall bracket for exterior unit
3. Install new drywall soffits

Replace the existing 100% outside air 15,000 CFM air handling unit serving this building which is located in the basement. The unit is being replaced with a more efficient fan wall technology and is being sized at 20,000 CFM for future capacity. The unit will have a steam coil, chilled water coil, and humidifier similar to current condition. A clean steam to steam humidifier is being added for better indoor air quality. The control system for the unit is being replaced with a new electronic DDC system and alternate is being provided for adding the building heating system to the control system as well.
The project involves the construction of a new wood-framed, one-story, slab on grade office, approximately 4200 square feet in area. The brick veneered facility has a standing seam metal roof in the base bid. The project includes preparation of a building pad and limited amount of sitework.

This project includes the replacement of 25 roof squares of cedar shingles on the Historic Switzer Covered Bridge in Franklin County, Kentucky. This is a historic covered bridge over North Elkhorn Creek and special considerations will be required by the Contractor to prevent building debris from entering the creek. A Plan of Acton will be required by the Contractor for Owner to submit to the Division of Water. Trash collection and portable toilets will be required. There will be some minor carpentry repair and replacement required using rough cut materials. There will be a 20 year roof warranty required for the completed roof.
AML Reclamation Project

We will install a new crossing at the failed crossing across the tributary running parallel to North Webb Road and perpendicular to KY 246. Temporary diversion of the stream in the work area is incidental to the overall project. Remove the existing pipes and concrete headwall. Remove sediment from the stream channel 25’ upstream and 50’ downstream for an average depth of ~1’maintaing stable side slopes. Do not remove trees or undercut the existing banks. Construct an interlocking block crossing. The roadway base will be set at the excavated channel flow path; all construction materials will be set below the 1’ lowered stream base. Efforts (equipment, labor, materials, etc.) necessary to divert the water around the work site will be incidental to site preparation. The crossing should have ~6:1 side slopes at with a 6’ bottom width. The No. 2 stone base, geo-grid, and concrete header and footer are paid under the roadway stone, geo-grid, and concrete bid items.
The upper project area will address sediment and poorly vegetated areas. We will clean out two existing silt traps. These Type B traps will not be lined with class II rock and will be deeper than normal traps to accommodate the metal precipitates from the acid mine drainage.

Openings to be made in metal stud/impact resistant gypsum board wall construction. Work includes termination of an existing duplex electrical outlet in a medication room behind each nurse station.
c. Providing manufactured handrails along both sides of the patient corridors in 7 floors of the patient towers.

Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items as listed in the Bid Schedule included in Part III, Form of Proposal , of this document, plus incidentals necessary to complete the work. The work entails the purchase and construction of 61 flag poles and 15 flag pole bases along the Legacy Trail.
The project includes:
providing all construction supervision, labor , materia ls, tools, test equipment necessary for the reconstruction of pipelines and conduits by the installation of approximately 1,590 L.F. of 30-inch, resin-impregnated, flexible tube , and 10 manhole rehabilitations using a resin-based liner.
All work activities required and necessary to furnish and install all of the projects elevators and associated equipment essential for their complete and safe operation. The four elevators of this project include two electric traction passenger and two electric traction service elevators.
