In general, Bid Package 06 includes the necessary work items required to furnish and install the building enclosure consisting of brick veneer, terracotta panels and exterior column features, glass and aluminum curtain wall, windows and entrances, and the option of foam or modified bitumen roofing systems; the interior finishes, including gypsum and ceiling system, acoustical wall panels, floor and wall coverings, door frames and hardware, millwork and finish carpentry, laboratory equipment and casework; and all Mechanical and Electrical building systems, including plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling, fire suppression, controls, electrical power and lighting, telecommunications, security and all ADA and life safety considerations necessary and required.

The floor contains approximately 15,000 square feet, Work includes new walls, doors, acoustical panel ceilings, finishes, light fixtures and electrical work, plumbing, mechanical ductwork. Hazardous material abatement is included in the scope of work. There are three add alternates.

This project consists of the removal of existing 8″ sanitary sewers and structures, and the furnishing and installing of approximately 4800′ of new 1211 gravity sewers, manholes, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project.
This center will house an Emergency Operations Center, Enhanced-911, Disaster and Emergency Management, and LFUCG’s LexCall. This is an existing structure with a footprint of 100’x370’. It is a concrete structure, floor slab, concrete beams & columns and precast double tee roof structure with precast exterior panels. The interior space has been demolished as part of phase 1. New construction will consist of new walls with some CMU & some metal studs and insulation. Some modifications will need to be completed to reinforce the existing structure, new shear walls, moment connections, etc. All new plumbing, HVAC, electrical and roofing will be installed.
Construction includes but is not limited to demolition, grading, site utilities, concrete paving, site lighting, a decorative fountain , brick masonry, steel railings, pedestrian lighting, sod, seed and landscape planting.

This project shall be to demolish and remove Thompson Complex North Wing located on the main campus of Western Kentucky University in its entirety including footers/foundations and existing underground utility piping. The building is of concrete frame construction originally built in 1960 consisting of 72,534 total gross square feet on four levels (one on-grade with three elevated levels). The building does have a partially excavated crawl space.

There is also coordination with water and gas companies for the installation of utilities in the roadway.

The program of work for which bids are to be submitted consists of the installation a new underground 480 volt, 3-phase service and service disconnect, installation of OWNER supplied pumps and control panel, construction of a raised galvanized steel platform for all electrical equipment, testing of pumps and control panel, including all related appurtenances.
This is a renovation of the existing old locker room at the soccer/softball complex turning the facility into an office and administration area for the softball and soccer coaches and staff. The renovation area is approximately 4,425 square feet. There is a demolition of existing walls and exterior elements for the renovation and addition. The existing structure is a concrete block with brick veneer and wood trusses. The new addition will match the existing construction type. The HVAC, Electric and Plumbing systems are to be updated along with installing a sprinkler system, fire alarm systems, and infrastructure for security and CIT.
