The Franklin County Cooperative Extension Service Office is an existing two level building consisting of a first floor and basement. This project contains the following work:

– Interior office renovation

This project is to coordinate with UK’s Unit Price Contractors for Electrical and Concrete to renovate the existing Family Pool at Spindletop Hall. The existing pool walls, floor, gutters etc. will remain (demolition of the existing shallow end steps will be included in this bid) and the deep end will be fill with stone to create a new concrete pool bottom, new stainless steel walls (including all required buttressing and support to be designed by pool contractor) and stainless steel gutter system including all new piping for features and standard supply and returns . All water feature piping is to be included in the base bid pricing and the water features will be listed in the Alternate Bid pricing on the bid form. As part of this work the under slab bonding grid will be provided and installed by the contractor and bonded/inspected by the electrical contractor and State Electrical Inspector and must be coordinated by the pool contractor prior to concrete being placed.
