Project Description:
The Franklin County Cooperative Extension Service Office is an existing two level building consisting of a first floor and basement. This project contains the following work:
– 145 square foot addition to the first floor main entrance
– 55 square foot addition to the basement main entrance
– Canopy additions to first floor and basement main entrances
– Interior office renovation
The Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, earthwork, termite control, asphalt paving, concrete work, unit masonry assemblies, rough carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, building insulation, exterior insulation and finish systems, asphalt shingles, sheet metal flashing and trim, firestopping, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, pre-hung wood doors and frames, folding doors, aluminum entrances and storefronts, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board assemblies, resilient floor tile, ceramic tile, carpet, acoustical wall panels, painting, cast signs, louvers and vents, electrical (power, communication, and lighting) systems, clean-up and removal of construction debris.
Project Includes:
1. Tuckpointing of failed masonry head and bed joints all elevations 2. Replacement of mismatched mortar
3. Replacement of all damaged and cracked brick
4. Removal and reconstruction of the east planter walls (north and east elevations), installing hydraulic pressure control (wall drainage), and possibly including foundations (see unit prices)
5. Repairs and tuckpointing of the front entrance posts, and seating area (see drawings for elements that are excluded)
6. Removal and reconstruction of the east elevation of the front seat wall
7. Repairs and tuckpointing to the side entrance seating area and light posts
8. Re-caulking of all existing caulking joints on building (includes window and door preimeters)
9. Final cleaning and waterproofing of the building exterior
