This Work includes the construction of a 2,000 sf office building at 702 S, Gallatin Rd, Scottsville, Kentucky. The building is slab-on-grade with wood framed walls, vinyl clad double hung wood windows, R-19 batt insulation, shop-fabricated wood trusses, asphalt
shingle roofing, and fiber cement siding. Typical floor finish to be vinyl composition tile, typical wall finish to be painted gypsum board, typical ceiling to be suspended acoustical tiles.Typical ceiling height to be 8’-0, typical bearing wall to be 10’-1. The HVAC system is an electric heat pump. The building will accommodate an occupancy of 21 and house the following rooms and functions: a large workroom with kitchenette, four private offices, a small conference room, men’s and women’s restrooms, mechanical room, custodial room, communications room, and reception room. The existing roof system is a built-up roof membrane over rigid insulation on metal decking. The section of roof being replaced (approximately 9,400 sf) will be demolished down to the existing metal decking. New insulation and a two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane will be installed. The roof deck has built-in slope. Tapered insulation will be used to form crickets as needed to direct runoff to existing drains. Existing copings will be demolished and new copings installed

Construction of Contract 3 – Williamstown Master Meter Connection section of the Looped Water Lines, Phase 14 project will consist of construction of 1,940′ of 6″ PVC waterline, 520′ of 8″ HDPE waterline, jack & bored casing pipe, gate valves, wet tap, dry tap, air release valve, fire hydrant, master meter assembly, and all other necessary appurtenances.

Construction of Contract 4 – Vallandingham/Osborne section of the Looped Water Lines, Phase 14 project will consist of construction of 2,100′ of 6″ PVC waterline, 380′ of 8″ HDPE waterline, service lines, directional bored casing pipe, gate valves, dry taps, air release valve, fire hydrants, meters, concrete & pipe encasement, asphalt replacement, gravel driveway replacement, and all other necessary appurtenances.

Bid Package 01 – Construction

The entire 16,000 square feet of existing Bingham Hall will be completely renovated and approximately 10,700 square feet of additions will be constructed to include an expansion area for the dormitory showers and a new two-story entry-commons area on the east side of the existing three-story building. The infill area between the existing dormitory and the new entry-commons area will contain a new elevator and a new open stair.

The new 26,700 square foot facility will remain double occupancy and house 86 students. The new two story entry-commons area addition will contain a lounge area, coffee bar, office, accessible toilet rooms and an apartment on the first floor , and a lounge, coffee bar, accessible toilet room, study and classroom on the second floor. The attic of the two-story addition will contain a mechanical space.

The building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be replaced and updated as part of the project to provide not only a quality housing environment but also compliance with life safety and accessible codes.

In general, Bid Package 01 includes all Work required for the complete construct ion of the Project

The Centralized Laboratory facility exterior renovation Phase V, located at 100 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky (Franklin, County), consists of upgrades and repairs to the exterior walls. The base bid shall consist of work that is primarily on the west and north sides of the facility. This work shall include, cleaning, sealant replacement, and reinstallation of exterior metal wall panels. Work on the interior of the wall system shall include sheathing repair, liquid applied waterproofing, and spray foam insulation. Interior work shall also include work at the basement level. This work shall include installation of the west concrete wall along a hallway and the reworking of an exterior louver system to create a waterproof barrier. The work of this project shall require access to the interior of the lab facility and will require security clearance (background checks) for all employees who will be working on or at the site.
