This project consists of the development of a 142 space surface parking lot on the main campus of Owensboro Community & Technical College located on New Hartford Road. The scope of work consists of earthwork, stone base, asphalt pavement and concrete curbs, site lighting and sidewalks. A significant alternate is indicated to relocated approximately 2,500 CY of earth material to a different location on campus to remove a berm and prepare an additional site for future development.
Project consists of adding masonry welding booths in an existing space. Space is to be painted, hardware to doors upgraded, and spray on sound proofing insulation shall be provided. Systems shall be installed include electrical power and exhaust system with dust collector to support the welding booths. Additionally the building’s existing electrical service will be replaced with a new electrical service.

The project is for the construction of a new parking structure to be located in the Creason Parking Lot of Western Kentucky University’s main campus. A site location feasibility study has been completed internally by WKU. The emphasis is on both minimizing the number of displaced existing surface parking spaces and maximizing the number of gained parking spaces. The impact on surface traffic circulation within the Creason Lot and adjacent surface streets shall also be investigated.
Relevant experience should include parking structure design, green design principles, access and revenue control equipment, traffic flow, transit service, and energy efficiency strategies.
