2. The existing floodlights aimed at the Old State Capitol shall be removed. New pole mounted floodlights shall be installed and wired as 277 volts, including neutral wiring and single pole breakers. New 0-10 volt dimming and control system shall be provided for the floodlights.
3. The existing floodlight aimed at the pool fountain shall be removed and replaced. New ground mounted floodlights shall be installed and wired as 277 volts, including neutral wiring and single pole breakers. New 0-10 volt dimming and control system shall be provided for the pool fountain floodlights.
4. New ground mounted floodlight for the Statue in the front lawn shall be installed and wired as 277 volts, including neutral wiring and single pole breakers. New conduit and wiring, including electrical pull box is to be provided. New 0-10 volt dimming and control system shall be provided for the Statue floodlight.
5. As an additive alternate, there will be six new LED dimmable cylinder downlight light fixtures including wiring, conduit, controls, etc. installed behind the Old State Capitol Columns along the front building façade.
East Campus Parking Structure and Dining Commons-P

Morehead State University is located in the foothills of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Rowan County KY between Lexington, KY, and Huntington, WVA on Interstate 64. Morehead State University enrolls more than 10,000 students from 112 Kentucky counties, 43 states and 31 nations.
The new East Campus Parking Garage will be constructed in 2 phases at the previous location of Waterfield Hall which was demolished in another, separate project. The concept is to have the garage stepped in to the side of the hill with vehicular “street level” access to the lower level of the garage only. The structure is approximately 113,000 square feet with roughly 358 parking spaces. The parking garage structure will be precast concrete, on bearing on rock via drilled piers and footings. The parking area beneath the dining commons will be on grade parking consisting of slab-on-grade concrete, with cast-in-place concrete above, supporting the dining commons floor and steel structure above.
The new dining commons will be roughly 26,800 SF and be a separate structure from the adjacent parking structure. The dining commons will be accessible from the lower garage level via stairs and an elevator, as well as from the upper level at grade. There will be a loading dock area with adjacent mechanical pad accessible from the upper level of the dining commons. The mechanical room with an equipment platform will be housed on the dining commons level. The area / parking beneath the dining facility will be a cast-in-place concrete plinth, with steel structure above, supporting the roof of the dining facility. The exterior of the dining facility will be precast sandwich panel concrete with a combination of brick veneer and stone-like finish, as well as curtain wall, and rain screen metal plate panels. Only the Dining Commons shell will be constructed during this phase of the project. The remaining Phase 2 interior fit-up work will be completed at a later date via a separate bid and contract. This project includes the installation of approximately 77,500 sf. of new roofing on Building 3, Bay A and Building 5, Bay A, and other selected decks at Bluegrass Station in Lexington, Kentucky. There are three Add Alternate decks being considered if funds allow. There are no known asbestos materials requiring removal or abatement. There shall be no lead based or asbestos containing materials installed on the project. Existing modified built-up roofing shall remain. New roofing shall consist of fully adhered 60 mil. Single ply TPO membrane roofing over new mechanically attached cover board . Existing sheet metal flashing will be re-used and supplemented with matching new metal where required. New gutters and downspouts are included. Roofing shall include 20- year no dollar limit warranty. Project will include covering approximately 5,600 sf. of clerestory windows with new factory painted steel siding. There is anticipated some roof repairs to be made as indicated on the drawings. There is some wet insulation requiring replacement. This Contractor shall include an Allowance of $15,000 for wet insulation replacement and deck repairs in their Proposal, and state Unit Cost per square foot to add or subtract from that amount. Deck repairs shall be accomplished with stated unit costs for work over and beyond that indicated on the Drawings.

The Rudy Thomas Drainage Small Purchase AMD Abatement Project is located in Hopkins County near the community of Coiltown. It is accessed from KY 109 0.1 miles south of KY 1034 via a haul road to the right. N 37° 20’ 15.36” W 87° 40’ 51.24”. Problems associated with this site include acid mine water surfacing and pooling within the project area. Remedial measures include both surface ditches and subsurface drains to control this water and to properly route away from the problem area. All disturbances will be kept to a minimum. Silt control measures will be in place to minimize any silt from leaving the project area. All disturbed areas will be revegetated using lime, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. This project includes the replacement of an existing water cooled chiller with a pre purchased centrifugal chiller. The new chiller shall be received and unloaded by this contactor. The existing chiller shall be disconnected from existing piping, electrical and controls. The new chiller shall be connected to existing piping, electrical and controls and made operational.
