FORCE MAIN
Installation of approximately 3000 feet of 12 inch PVC force main with ductile iron fittings, air release valves, bore and jack or open cut creek crossings, connection to an existing force main, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project, ready for continuous operations.
WWTP OUTFALL
Installation of approximately 2,600 feet of 16 inch of PVC outfall with ductile iron fitting, air release valves, an open cut road crossing, connection to existing outfall at the South Oldham Regional Plant, construction of a flared end section and riprap at the discharge location and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project, ready for continuous operations.

Project Description:
The Work includes open cut replacement of two sewers under flood control infrastructure, reconstructing the disturbed portions of the flood control infrastructure, removing two manholes, and installing two new manholes. The flood control infrastructure expected to be disturbed includes a concrete base slab and cutoff wall. Planter boxes sitting on top of the base slab will need to be temporarily removed.

This project will address two landslides that are affecting multiple residents and a county road in Johnson County. The project will construct pile & lagging walls to stop the movement of the slides along a county road and a residence. The material below the walls will be regraded to a stable configuration. Drainage controls will be improved and installed to collect and transport water away from the reclaimed areas. Onsite waste areas are designated. They are areas that have already been filled by residential development. Trees will be cut only in one unstable slide area; no trees will be cut outside the unstable areas. The project is generally described as the Northern Kentucky University, Health Innovations Center (HIC) Founders Hall Renovation.
