The Rough River Marina Relocation Project includes but is not limited to site preparation for the future relocation of the existing dock system from its current location to the site shown on the Drawings below the State Park Resort Lodge and construction of new infrastructure to service the marina. The project includes the construction of a new sanitary sewer force main, water line, electrical distribution, fuel piping, approximately 400 feet of pedestrian walkway/ramp, and replacement of a portion of the existing gravity sanitary sewer system located at 450 Lodge Rd., Falls of Rough, KY 40119. The project is divided into two (2) separate bid packages to be performed at different times. Bidders may bid on any or both of the individual packages.

Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 3,590 +/- linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main. the installation of 775 +/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main, and the installation of 2,550 +/- linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main (all using traditional trench installation techniques). Also included with the project is the installation of nine (9) +/- fire hydrants and the transfer, renewal, relocation or discontinue of 133 +/- customer services.
Work includes providing all required material, labor and equipment to perform selective floor and wall preparation and flooring and wall systems installation as hereinafter described. The project is to be performed in Men’s and Women’s Shower Rooms in Buildings No. 3823 and No. 3790 located at the Kentucky Horse Park Camp Grounds. Work will be sequenced as set forth in the Contract Documents. The scope of the project improvements includes floor and wall preparation at the shower and changing areas, including cleaning, grinding and/or scarifying existing tile and concrete masonry units. Associated flooring work includes stripping and preparation of tile floors in toilet and lavatory areas to receive floor & grout stains & sealers. In addition, work includes sanding and preparing existing concrete masonry walls, wood trim and drywall ceilings to receive new painting systems. Improvements include Installation of new epoxy resin flooring and wall systems at the shower areas, application of new floor stains and sealers, and application of water-borne epoxy and enamel painting systems. Mechanical work includes modification to the existing hot and cold water piping serving the showers within the shower rooms and installation of new wall mounted shower units at each shower location.
Installation of new Sanitary Sewer lines including approximately 1.221 lineal feet of 12″ sanitary sewer line, 582 lineal feet of 15″ sanitary sewer line, 1970 lineal feet of 18″ sanitary sewer line, sanitary sewer manholes, sidewalk demolition and repair, asphalt pavement repair, turf areas and curbs as a result of sanitary sewer line installation.

The Division of Abandoned Mine Lands wishes to receive bids to perform reclamation work on approximately 3 acres of mine land in Daviess County, Kentucky. The work will consist of earthwork, gradework, and revegetation of 1 bond forfeiture permit(s).
This project involves the cleaning, repairs, and treatment of the Jefferson Davis Monument with a penetrating water-repellant sealer. The Jefferson Davis Monument is a 351 ft. tall concrete obelisk measuring approximately 35 ft. square at its base. The work includes providing all access to the exterior of the monument, fencing and other controls for the work area. Repairs to the exterior concrete surfaces of the monument include removal and replacement of damaged concrete, repair of selected lift line sealants, and repairs to selected cracks, etc. The monument shall also receive detergent cleaning of the monument surfaces, final rinse cleaning of the monument surfaces and the application of a penetrating-water-repellant sealer to the exterior of the monument. Additional repairs include restoration of the historic bronze windows at the observation level as well as replacement of the security bars at these windows.

The scope of the work is for the construction of grade, drainage, paving, and structures associated with the new roadway, Alpha Way. Also included in the project is the construction of a “4” in Force Main, Water-line Encasement Pipe and a Traffic Signal at KY 480. The project work areas begin at existing Ohm Drive and extend north to a new intersection with KY 480, a distance of approximately 5844 feet.

Construction of a Construction/Demolition Debris Landfill Liner System for Cell 4.
The Elevators will be repaired per Kentucky Elevator Code, per Kentucky Revised Statue Chapter 198B-4009, which requires all elevator work to be performed by a KY Licensed Elevator Contractor or Mechanic, the National Electrical Code, as well as the National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex, located in Morgan County, West Liberty, Kentucky. The exterior Passenger Elevator and the interior Passenger Elevator are used extensively on a daily basis, are rapidly deteriorating with age, and are in need of repair. The structure of the elevator cabs are in good condition and suitable for reuse. In addition, the operating rails are heavy duty, in excellent shape and are to be reused. At the time the elevators were installed, there was no code requirement for a door restrictor, but will be added in this project. The elevator power units, controls, controller software, floor landing system will be replaced by the Contractor. The elevator machine rooms are in good condition with adequate access, HVAC, ventilation, and lighting. Likewise the elevator pits are acceptable, with no hydraulic oil leaks present. A dedicated HVAC unit for the interior elevator machine room will be provided by the Contract. The elevators will comply with all manufacturers’ requirements and shall interface with the Fire Alarm System for elevator recall.
