PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This package involves the installation work for the Phase 1F NEW NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT. The work will be performed under contract with the Construction Manger, Turner Construction Company.
This project primarily consists of the following scope of work: – Replace (8) existing air handling units and return fans. – Provide (1) new packaged rooftop units. – Replace (8) existing coil circulating pumps. – Update temperature controls to support all new systems. The project also includes modification of existing piping, valves and controls, as needed to facilitate the installation, startup and commissioning of new equipment. The project requires coordinating phasing for AHU replacement, with multiple system drain and fill occurrences. The project requires coordination for crane lifts and associated city permits. The project also requires coordination with ongoing roof replacement project, under separate contract with Bri-Den Roofing.

Louisville Water Company is requesting bids for Removal/Replacement of the existing 15 kV synchronization packages, protective relays, ASCP PLC’s, power monitors and miscellaneous and appurtenant items at the Crescent Hill and Zorn Pump Stations.
The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals and performing all work required to construct complete in place and ready to operate the Switchgear Rehabilitation at Crescent Hill and Zorn Pump Stations.
This includes the demolition and legal offsite disposal of the existing 15kV synchronization packages, protective relays, power monitors, ASCP PLC’s and other miscellaneous and appurtenant items. Installation includes new 15 kV synchronization packages including relays, contactors and necessary components, new electronic protection relays complete with all necessary components, new power monitors complete with all necessary components, new ASCP PLC’s, switchgear door replacement, new valve positioner transmitters pump primed switch replacement, wire, conduit, etc., and all other services to complete this work.
Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 1,900 +/- linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques). Also included with the project is the installation of one (1) +/- fire hydrant and the transfer, renewal, relocation or discontinue of 51 +/- customer services.

The proposed project (approximately 23.5 acres total) consists of drilling and grouting reclamation in Johnson County. The project area is located on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5’ Paintsville quadrangle (see the attached project and site maps). The Van Taylor site consists of drainage issues and road slope instability. The site is located at 1636 Honeysuckle Lane, near the community of Paintsville, KY. The project area is centrally located at N 37° 49’ 6.9”, W 82° 51’ 19.7”. To reach the site from the Paintsville, head towards KY 40W and travel 2.1 miles. Continue onto US 460W for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto Connelly Branch Road. Travel approximately 0.2 miles and the Taylor residence is at the top of the hill on the left. Please see spec book for full project description.
