PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This contract consists of relocation of approximately 690 L.F. of 8″ PVC waterline, 740 L.F. of 8″ Ductile Iron waterline, 295 L.F. of 8″ H.D.P.E. waterline, installing new master meter station, and all appurtenances. The engineer’s estimate is $239,000.

Middlesboro High School – New Baseball and Softball Press Boxes

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Project consists of (2) two-story press boxes on the existing
Middlesboro High School site; including one for baseball and one for softball. The
press boxes shall be masonry and wood stud construction with wood trusses and
metal roof. Will include one new restroom and (2) concession stands, including
rough-in for equipment.
Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work:
1. Bid Packages
Bid Package 1 – General Trades Masonry – work in this package shall include
concrete footings, all site excavation associated with the new work, masonry wall
construction including all associated accessories, wood stud framing and all
associated accessories/attachments; wood trusses; all associated sheathing for
both wall and floor construction; doors and frames; door hardware; hollow metal
window frames including all necessary attachments and grout.
Bid Package 2 – Metal Wall/Roof Panels – work in this package shall include
metal wall panels and all necessary attachments and closure pieces. Also
included in this package is the metal roof system including all necessary sheathing,
insulation, roofing accessories, flashing and trim.
Bid Package 3 – Mechanical/Plumbing – work in this package shall include all
work associated with plumbing and mechanical systems in the project. This shall
include all piping, ducts, fixtures, diffusers, and rough-in.
Bid Package 4 – Electrical – work in this package shall include all work
associated with the electrical system in the project. This shall include all lighting,
power wiring, receptacles, panels, and rough-in.
