The proposed project (approximately 1.5 acres within the project limit, of which only a portion is expected to be disturbed) consist of improving drainage to reduce or eliminate a saturation problem which has made the back yard of the residence unusable and is threatening a heat pump and the foundation of the residence. Traveling from the Prestonsburg area, the site can be reached following KY 80 west toward the ramp indicating KY 302/Martin/Hazard and taking the ramp toward Wayland/Garrett. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto KY 7 and proceeding for approximately 25 miles to a left onto Hwy. 317. The residence will be at #71 Jet Drive, to the right, at 37° 12’ 26.5” N; 82° 42’ 37.3” W. A waste area is planned roughly 5 miles from the site, off of Ramey Fork Road at 37° 10’ 21.6” N; 82° 40’ 45.4”. The waste area is reached by traveling south down Hwy. 317 from the site until a left turn onto Hwy. 805. Ramey Fork Road is approximately 2 miles down Hwy. 317, on the right.
To dewater the rear of the residence, and that of a neighboring residence, two lengths of a combined subdrain and ECB ditch will be installed. The subdrains will daylight into a concrete ditch which will take the water into Yonts Creek. An existing berm at the site is to be regarded and repaired to control runoff.
Further upslope, three collapsed portals are not intended to be worked. A fourth, open, portal, however, is intended to be closed with wildlife access. Lengths of modified subdrain (rock to surface) are planned to drain significant impounded water into the existing drainage and away from the residences. Limited earthwork is included to reconstruct an existing but damaged earthen berm which has served to keep impounded water from coming down toward the existing residences.
A temporary bridge will be placed atop the existing concrete bridge for access over Yonts Creek during construction to prevent damage.
Utility relocation and replacement, hoe ram, dense grade aggregate and roadway stone are included as may be needed. Steel is include for use in the concrete ditch. Existing fence is intended to be left unaffected during construction activities.
Materials resulting from any tree cutting are not to be placed in the waste area, but are to be chipped on site or otherwise disposed of per the property owner’s wishes. Additional roadway stone is included to maintain access to the waste area.
A sediment and erosion control program, consisting of such measures as hay bales, silt fences, and prompt re-vegetation will be implemented on all areas disturbed by this project. All items related to erosion control must be properly installed and well maintained throughout the length of the project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The scope of work, at a minimum, will include all work required to provide a baggage handling
system and installed building materials to deliver a project that is fully functional for all users,
including the Owner, TSA and airlines.
A. Existing BHS Description
The existing Baggage Handling System (BHS) contains the following:
1. Ticket Counter Subsystems (TC1, TC2,TC3, TC4, TC5, TC6, TC7)
2. Main Line Subsystem (s) for transport to EDS screening
3. (2) TSA RSEDS Machines to be decommissioned, if required
4. Sortation Subsystem
5. Slope Plate Make-Up Unit
All existing BHS equipment is to be replaced as part of this project.
B. New BHS Description
The proposed Baggage Handling System for Lexington Bluegrass Airport is as follows
1. New Ticket Counter subsystems (TC): All standard size baggage originating at
check-in is to be inducted into the system at one of the new Ticket Counter
subsystems.
2. Main Line Subsystems (ML): Baggage originating at one of the Ticket Counter
subsystems will then travel to one of two redundant Main Line subsystems for
transport to Checked Baggage Inspection System (CBIS).
3. Security Feed Subsystems (SF): The ML subsystems become the SF subsystems
(SF1,SF2) as they enter the CBIS area.
4. The CBIS includes: Two Security Shunt Subsystems (SS1, SS2) for Level 1
screening via existing RSEDS Units, as well as planning for new EDS machines in
the future.
5. On Screen Resolution (OSR1, OSR2) subsystems.
6. The OSR1, OSR2 subsystems receive suspect bags from the SS subsystems vial
Level 1 decision points downstream of the EDS machines.
7. Suspect bags will then travel for the minimum time needed per TSA PGDS (latest
edition) standards so that a Level 2 decision can be made.
8. Alarm (AL)subsystems receive suspect bags from the Level 2 decision point and
conveys them into CBRA for Level 3 screening. Clear Bag (CL) subsystems receive
either Level 1 cleared bags from the SS subsystems vial Level 1 decision points
downstream of the EDS machines, Level 2 cleared bags from the OSR subsystems
via the Level 2 decision points, or via Level 3 ETD stations in CBRA for transport
to sortation.
9. Sortation Line subsystem (SL): The SL subsystem receives CL bags and conveys
them to sortation. This subsystem is to begin at the new ATR.
10. Make-Up unit subsystems (MU): The sortation devices will consists of (2) slope
plate, friction drive make-up units.
C. Building Modification Description
Modifications to the existing building may include, but is not limited to the following:
Relocation of existing ticket counters to facilitate installation of wider ticket counter
take away lines. Relocation / widening of BHS right-of-ways from ticket lobby through
ATO space, and back to the baggage make-up areas. Expansion of the existing TSA
EDS area which is to include, demolition of existing walls, installation of new exterior
wall and associated foundation, floor infill, and necessary MEP. Existing baggage
make-up area roof expansion. Also included is the relocation of an existing emergency
generator fuel tank and associated underground piping.

Work includes providing all required material, labor and equipment to perform selective demolition and associated reconstruction of project improvements on one (1) building identified as the Breeds Barn, located on the Kentucky Horse Park property in Lexington, Kentucky as hereinafter described. Work includes complete removal of an existing asphalt shingle roof and felt underlayment, wood dormer and cupola trim and siding, removal of aluminum gutters and temporary removal of minor roof mounted equipment and devices to be retained and reinstalled as part of the new work. The scope of the project improvements includes installation of new face fastened metal roofing system and trim, application of new fiber cement siding and composite trim on cupolas and dormers, installation of aluminum brake metal fascia trim, installation of new aluminum gutters and reinstallation of roof mounted equipment. There is one alternate bid item which includes the removal of existing fixed wood louvers and installation of new molded fiberglass fixed louvers at all dormer and cupola locations.

This project consists of seven (7) different individual sites in Boyd County, KY.
1 The Blanton and Tatarian/Dmoski AML Reclamation Project involves an excessive amount of subsurface water from underground mine works located in a residential area that has flooded the yards. This area stays saturated year around. The proposed project is to install subsurface drainage to collect the water and discharge it into a stream. The subsurface drain will be backfilled with soil from the excavation. The waste material will be disposed of on site. The site will them be seeded and mulched. The site is located behind the houses on Boone Street in Ashland, KY on the Ashland Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 28’ 9.8”, W 82° 39’ 35.9” (see attached maps).
2 The Billie Butler AML Reclamation Project involves a subsidence void from underground mining that has opened up next to the foundation and the closing a vertical shaft that is located across Chinn Street at the Kyle Hable residence. Both sites will be excavated to determine the extent of the voids. The voids will be filled with a combination of concrete and rock to prevent further subsidence. The top 2 feet will be backfilled with soil. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Chinn Street in Ashland, KY on the Ashland Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 28’ 4.4”, W 82° 39’ 40.7” (see attached maps).
3 The Brandy Wurts AML Reclamation Project involves a subsidence void from underground mine works that has opened up under a shed attached to the garage. The shed will be removed and dispose of at a landfill. As per the agreement with the property owner the shed does not have to be replaced. The site will be excavated to determine the extent of the void. The void will be filled with a combination of concrete and rock to prevent further subsidence. The top 2 feet will be backfilled with soil. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Workman Road in Ashland, KY on the Ashland Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 27’ 0.6”, W 82° 39’ 28.8” (see attached maps).
4 The Debbie Knipp AML Reclamation Project involves the controlling of surface and subsurface water that is seeping thru old refuse into her crawl space under her house. An existing surface ditch on the adjacent property will be reconstructed to an adequate depth to prevent the surface water from flooding her yard and seeping into her crawl space. This water will be discharged into Ellington Run. At the edge of her yard a combination subsurface drain and a surface concrete tied mat ditch will be constructed to prevent water seeping into her crawl space. This water will be discharged into Ellington Run. All waste material will be disposed of on site. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Ellington Run Road in Cannonsburg, KY on the Boltsfork Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 21’ 21.1”, W 82° 43’ 16.5” (see attached maps).
5 The Cannonsburg AML Reclamation Project involves the adequate covering of coal refuse to prevent fires and environmental hazards. The disposal of this material will be by burying the refuse and/or covering the refuse with a minimum of 2 foot of soil material. The existing refuse pile will be regarded to provide positive drainage. Borrow material will be obtained from the site to provide a minimum of 2 feet of cover for the refuse. Surface drainage ditches will be constructed to discharge water into the existing drainage features. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Oak Hill Road in Cannonsburg, KY on the Ashland Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 23’ 51.9”, W 82° 41’ 59.23” (see attached maps).
6 The James Clark AML Reclamation Project involves the construction of proper drainage controls to address the mine water discharge and seepage from and existing mine portal. A temporary bridge will be utilized to cross the Right Fork of Trace Creek. The existing portal will be opened to install proper drainage controls at the portal. A subsurface drain will be constructed along the base of the hill to collect the water seepage. All drainage from the portal and subsurface drain will be discharge into a reconstructed drainage ditch with permanent silt traps. This drainage will discharge into the Right Fork of Trace Creek. The waste will be disposed on site. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Route 966 in Rush, KY on the Boltsfork Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 20’ 44.9”, W 82° 44’ 51.2” (see attached maps).
7 The Carl Ball AML Reclamation Project involves the sealing of a mine portal. The opening is small. An 8” HDPE pipe will be installed in the opening to allow water to flow before sealing it with polyurethane foam and backfilling with 2 foot of soil. The site will then be seeded and mulched. The site is located on Kenview Drive, Ashland KY on the Ashland Quadrangle at coordinates N 38° 28’ 26.3”, W 82° 41’ 35.7” (see attached maps).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Student Center Renovation and Expansion project is a new low rise multi-purpose building addition to
the existing 1938 Student Union building that also incorporates the existing 1924 Alumni Gym into its
footprint located on the Avenue of Champions at South Limestone Street. Including the 1938 and 1924
building floor areas of approximately 100,000 square feet, the completed building will consist of an
approximate total floor area of 378,000 square feet.
The Work of this project consists of site preparation with the complete removal of the existing 1963, 1982
and 2008 additions to the 1938 Student Union Building, including hazardous materials abatement, the relocation and reworking of site utilities; new construction of reinforced concrete foundations of footings
and piers, grade beams and foundation walls, upon which will support structural steel framing with composite floor decks above grade and at-grade slabs on grade; exterior insulated brick masonry veneer, metal cladding, glazed curtain wall fenestration and roofing on metal decking containing clerestory and
sky-lighting features which make up the building envelope; interiors consisting of gypsum and glazed walls, gypsum and acoustical ceilings and other advanced and well-appointed interior finishes that
complete this technologically advanced and secure facility that provides the essential needs of all
University of Kentucky students, faculty and staff. Efficient and sustainable heating, cooling, lighting and
communications systems are incorporated for safety, security, comfort, energy conservation, and ease of
operation.

Louisville Metro Government is currently accepting bids for McNeely Lake Park Access Road and Trail per the attached specifications. The selected firm will construct approx. 141 LF of trailhead path to connect the previously constructed trail in Section I to the restroom facilities located in McNeely Lake Park South. It also includes construction of a trailhead and service connection from the end of the Section I roadway to the end of Section I trail as well as earthwork associated with grading of two soccer fields and installation of soccer field lighting. Project includes the complete reroofing of the existing L&N Building with a modified bituminous membrane roof system. The existing sheet metal cornice will be modified and repaired. Exterior plaster on the penthouses will be repaired. Masonry work and new stone masonry parapet caps are included. Also included are a new lighting protection system and a rooftop fall protection system.
Project also includes the complete refurbishment of the existing L&N Sign to like new condition. Work includes the replacement of the neon tubes with flexible LED light fixtures, resurfacing the porcelain, replacing the support structure and replacement of the letter channels. Existing analog neon controller to be replaced with new digital lighting control system. Support structure to be painted. Support structure penetrations to be flashed.
