Replace 10 existing 2,000,000 BTU/HR boilers with 4 new 5,000,000 BTU/HR boilers inside the existing Kentucky Horse Park Alltech Arena. This work includes demolition of the existing boilers, new induced draft fans, exhaust duct, outdoor air duct, concrete pads, piping, insulation and electrical required for new work. The new boilers, draft fans, and equipment to be tied into the existing DDC Controls in the building.

Areas in the project include new national venue restaurants, campus wide catering kitchen, a plating kitchen on the third floor, large ballroom with folding wall partitions, campus data center, admissions center, theater, Student Government Offices, Dean of Student Offices, minor upgrades to Bookstore and office suites, additional meeting rooms on third floor. Building structure is concrete frame on existing building with concrete piles and grade beams. A new brick and limestone façade is being replaced on the existing building. The new building addition structure consists of concrete pile foundation with the building frame being concrete on first and second floors and steel frame with fireproofing at the third floor. Exterior walls will be light gage metal stud with masonry veneer. The roof assembly is a T.P.O. membrane roof with polyisocyanurate insulation. Exterior openings include aluminum windows, aluminum storefront and aluminum curtainwall. Interior is made up of light gage metal stud interior partitions. The finishes include carpet tile, luxury vinyl tile, rubber tile, porcelain tile and base, interior wood casework with solid surface counter tops, wood veneer wall covering in several lobby areas. Lighting in facility will be LED lighting throughout. The building HVAC will have a 4 pipe variable air volume system. It will consist of air cooled steam to hot water heat exchangers connected to the universities control steam system. The air handling units for the existing building will be located in the existing mechanical room and penthouses. All spaces will be provided with voice annunciated fire alarm system. A roof mounted transformer will provide back-up power.
The project consist of new construction for a new District 10 Office building located at the northwest corner of Highway 15 and Jett Drive, Jackson, Kentucky (Breathitt County). The new building will contain approximately 25,000 square feet of new office space located on a 6.5 acres lot adjacent to the existing District 10 office building. The existing office building will remain in operations during construction of the new facility. Vehicular parking will remain in the back portion of the site, where existing parking is currently located. The new structure will be a single story building with a mechanical mezzanine. The structure will consist of structural, metal stud load bearing walls with a masonry brick veneer, energy efficient aluminum doors and storefront punched openings. The roof will be constructed with light gauge metal trusses, 1 ½” metal roof deck, rigid insulation and standing seam metal roofing. The HVAC system will be a VRF system with energy recovery and the lighting will be fluorescent LED. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project will consist of a new single story 14,782 square foot Rehabilitation &
Orthopedics Center. The proposed project is located on the existing Taylor Regional Medical Park campus in
Campbellsville, Kentucky, and approximately 4.8 acres will be disturbed for this project.
The proposed site work scope includes site preparation of the sub-grade for the building pad, asphalt pavement,
sidewalks and landscaped areas. Domestic and sprinkler water services are available at the property line.
Sanitary service will be obtained from a new sanitary sewer main. The storm water will be managed on site with
the use of retention basins.
Rehabilitation & Orthopedics Center will consist of a concrete slab on grade, concrete spread footings and a
steel frame primary structural support system. Steel braced frames will serve as the lateral system. Special
Inspections will be required.
The envelope of the Rehabilitation & Orthopedics Center will consist of a masonry veneer incorporating split
face CMU, ground face CMU and brick as well as a metal wall panel system exterior cladding over an energy
code compliant insulated metal stud backup framing system. The roof will be a white plastic membrane system.
Aluminum curtain wall and storefront glazing will also be utilized.
The interior construction will include metal studs and gypsum wall board partitions, doors frames and hardware.
New finishes shall include flooring, walls, ceilings in addition to new custom casework, specialty items and
furnishings. Radiation shielding is required in one location within the project. A recessed pit shall be provided
to contain 1 new and 1 future owner-provided and installed premanufactured therapy pool system.
Plumbing work will include plumbing fixtures, water, vent, hot and cold water piping for plumbing fixtures, and
roof drains with associated piping for roof drainage. A full coverage sprinkler system shall be provided.
Mechanical work will include a VRF “cassette” style ventilation system for increased indoor air quality and
energy savings.
The electrical work will include a new 480V, three phase electrical service. Also included is an interior power
distribution system and devices for point of use connections. Fire alarm work includes new addressable
notification and initiation system. New interior and exterior lighting and lighting control systems are included.
Data infrastructure includes cable tray, wire management, and data rack. A door access control system is
included. Rough in for miscellaneous low voltage systems is also included. The structure will be protected by a lightning protection system.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The primary scope of work includes the removal of the four existing RAS pumps and motors and replacing with new pumps and motors with and associated features. The scope also consists of
the purchase and installation of approximately 150 LF of 12-inch DI and four plug valves, and
related appurtenances associated with connecting referenced piping to the existing influent splitter
box.
The project consists of the demolition of the existing two ply modified asphalt roof system including the existing insulation. Installation of a new two ply modified asphalt roof will follow. New roof system shall include rigid board insulation above the roof deck. Existing metal flashings will be removed then re-installed. Alternate #1 includes installing new coping rather than re-installing the existing coping.
