THIS PROJECT IS FOR THE RENOVATION OF AGRONOMY GREENHOUSES 1 & 2 AND THE
CONNECTED HEADHOUSE. THE NEW FLOOR PLAN WILL BE CONFIGURED TO MEET MATCH THE
CURRENT TOBACCO RESEARCH GREENHOUSE LAYOUT. NEW CONCRETE AND GRAVEL FLOORS
WILL BE INSTALLED, THE STRUCTURAL STEEL FRAME WILL BE STRIPPED AND REPAINTED, AND
THE OLD TRANSLUCENT WALL AND ROOF PANELS WILL BE REMOVED AND NEW PANELS
INSTALLED. NEW MECHANICAL, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WILL BE INSTALLED.
THE MAIN FLOOR LEVEL OF THE HEAD HOUSE WILL BE CLEANED AND PAINTED AND THE
ELECTRICAL WILL BE UPDATED WITH NEW LIGHTS INSTALLED. THE MAIN DOUBLE DOORS WILL
ALSO BE REPLACED.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: New construction of a 500-600 space, 6 level parking structure
located at the rear of Creason Lot in an approximately 36.000 S.F. footprint. The
garage is entirely above grade and “open” as defined by the Kentucky Building Code.
The architectural components of the parking structure include stair towers, elevator
shaft, and a breakroom/office area. The foundation system is reinforced concrete
spread footings bearing on rock and the lowest level is a reinforced concrete slab-ongrade
over compacted granular fill over compacted subgrade. The garage
superstructure is a precast framed system and the superstructure for the stair and
elevator tower is structural steel with concrete floors cast on metal floor deck and
metal roof deck.
This project is to generally improve the domestic hot water systems for the Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Specifically the improvement will be replacement of the existing heat exchanger heads, valving, piping, domestic hot water thermostatic mixing valves, and installation of domestic hot water recirculation piping, hot water recirculation pumps, controls, and electrical power. The trades involved include, but are not limited to: demolition; plumbing; and electrical.

Greenbo Lodge is located at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park, 965 Lodge Road in Greenup, Kentucky. It is a Kentucky State Park. During recent interior renovation work it was determined that a portion of the existing wood roof trusses are structurally unsound. It has also been determined that the existing wood roof trusses cannot be repaired in place. This project requires all materials, equipment and labor necessary to protect all existing interior construction assemblies while the existing roof waterproofing systems and roof structure is removed and replaced with new construction. The interior of the building shall be maintained watertight at the end of each workday. See specifications for a complete project description.

The entire North Façade is to undergo a complete masonry restoration including necessary masonry repairs, tuckpointing, joint sealants. All windows on the North façade are to be re-caulked to existing masonry openings. After the restoration, the entire façade is to be cleaned of all biologic growth, carbon crust, dirt, grime, etc. New bird control devices are to be installed. Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the installation of 1,320 +/- linear feet of 16-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main (using traditional trench installation techniques), the supply and installation of 410 +/- linear feet of restrained joint 16- inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main, and the supply, bore and jack of 300 +/- linear feet of 32-inch Steel Casing Pipe.
Project involves the replacement of central steam distribution to three campus buildings with other heat sources, including new gas-fired steam boilers and accessories, new gas-fired domestic hot water heater and new gas-fired high-efficiency hot water boilers. In addition, over 1000 ft. of new underground gas pipe across the campus will fuel the new equipment in the project buildings.

The renovation of approximately 9,200 square feet of the lower level of Lucille Little Library. The renovation will provide classrooms, offices, gallery space, as well as include exterior improvements for the Confucius Institute.
Project Location: Lucille Little Library Basement, 160 Patterson Dr. Lexington, KY 40506.
The site is located on Little Lick Fork Road, off of KY 1750 outside of the city of Paintsville in Johnson County, KY.The project will consist of constructing a low water crossing at coordinates N 37° 45′ 30.657″, W 82° 49′ 49.849″ or using an existing crossing and nearby property to access three collapsed portals. Three wildlife accessible portal closures will be constructed. The Hazel Rice residence is located at the coordinates N 37° 45′ 23.134″, W 82° 49′ 47.234″. A 7.5’ high Non-Reinforced Block Wall -Type II will be constructed behind the Rice residence. A retaining wall subdrain and a combination ECB Ditch – Drain will be constructed along the constructed wall and base of the slope. Those drains will tie into surface drains that lead to Little Lick Fork. Access to the site will be via the existing county road (Little Lick Fork Road), driveways, and temporary access roads around the residences.No trees outside of unstable ground areas that are greater than 5″ at chest height within the project area will be removed.
