(HIC) Founders Hall Renovation. The project is located in Highland Heights, Kentucky, on

north of Griffin Hall. The project will include the construction of the new Health Innovation Center
(HIC) building and renovation of the existing Founders Hall Building. The HIC building will consist of a
new 95,000 sf four-story steel frame building with the option to shell a 5th floor of approximately
12,000 sf. The Founders Hall renovation is a 106,000 sf complete interior gut and renovation of the
existing 5 story concrete-structured building.

This Work includes the removal of existing standing seam metal roofing system and existing SBS Modified Bitumen roofing system in areas indicated on drawings. New standing seam metal roofing system and SBS Modified Bitumen roofing system will be installed in locations indicated on Drawings. Existing lightning protection system will be removed and salvaged to owner. Existing snow and ice guards on standing seal metal roofing will be removed and re-installed on new standing seam metal roofing. Dormers and other architectural items with exterior vertical surfaces will receive new flush panel metal wall systems as indicated on drawings.

This project is to generally improve the domestic hot water systems for the Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Specifically the improvement will be replacement of the existing heat exchanger heads, valving, piping, domestic hot water thermostatic mixing valves, and installation of domestic hot water recirculation piping, hot water recirculation pumps, controls, and electrical power. The trades involved include, but are not limited to: demolition; plumbing; and electrical.
The project will consist of the renovation and upgrades to a portion of the existing 3rd floor of the Bingham Building at Central State Hospital. Work consists of general demolition and new construction for renovated offices. An Alternate is included for select demolition and new construction of new public restrooms.
Work related to electrical consists of limited demolition of the third floor electrical systems including lighting, receptacles, data/voice cabling and jacks, new information technology data/server rack, installation of fiber optic cable backbone, fire alarm system and new video intercom.

The new 2-story, Educational Alliance Center will be constructed on the north side of the Middlesboro Campus for Southeast KCTC. The base bid building is approximately 27,000sf. LEED certification will be pursued for this project.
The building will include: A Nursing department, an Aviation lab, Assembly areas, Internet café, general and computer classrooms, faculty offices, administrative and supports spaces. The project will also include a 2-stop hydraulic elevator.
The foundation will include a 10-inch thick concrete slab, concrete grade beams supported by auger-cast piles, all steel reinforced. The second floor will be framed with precast concrete planks supported by reinforced masonry walls. The equipment platform will be a composite concrete/metal deck. The roofs steel-framed.
For HVAC, chilled water will be provided by air cooled chillers, HVAC hot water will be provided by gas fire boilers. Classroom and multipurpose areas will be served using fan coil units. Offices and other small areas will be served by a central VAV air handling unit and single duct terminal units with reheat coils. Outside air will be fed to the system using a central dedicated outside air unit.
Existing site infrastructure will be utilized to extend utilities to the new building. The service into the building will be 277/480V/three-phase. The internal distribution system will provide 277/480V/three-phase power to equipment loads, 277V power to lighting loads, and 120V power to receptacle loads. The project will include a fire alarm system, telecommunications systems, and rough-in for Owner-provided AV and security systems.

Description and location of Project: The parts and labor to replace electrical actuators and upgrade electrical components at flood gates 136 and 145. Site access near Lee’s Lane and the Farnsley Moremen Landing, respectively, Louisville, KY.
The project generally consists of the following: 1. Complete tear-off of existing roof membrane down to Tectum deck (at West Roof) and metal deck substrate (at East Roof). 2. New retrofit roof drains installed in all existing drain bowls. 3. Installation of new sheet metal coping. 4. Installation of new rigid insulation over vented base sheet on Tectum deck at West Roof. 5. Installation of new rigid insulation over metal deck at East Roof. 6. Installation of 1/2″ fiberboard over rigid insulation. 7. Application of new 2-ply SBS Modified-Bitumen roof system. 8. Miscellaneous other work as described in documents.
The Work in this Project shall include all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services required to construct and install the complete and operational systems described herein and on the Drawings. The Project includes clearing, grubbing and disposal of all debris from the proposed roadway corridor. Additionally included in this project is all earthwork and grading necessary to construct approximately 2630 feet of gravel roadway as outlined in the project plans and specifications. Roadway construction will include the installation of N-12 HDPE roadway culverts an associated headwalls. Soil preparation, and seeding and erosion control for the affected areas are included in this scope of work. The Work will include supplying, installing, and testing to ensure proper operation of all systems. Alternate #1: this project will include a 4″ thick asphalt base layer along length of the proposed roadway. Alternate #2: 2″ thick asphalt surface layer on a 4″ thick asphalt base layer along the length of the proposed roadway.
