The work will consist of interior renovations to accommodate new educational programs. Renovations will include selective demolition, metal stud/gypsum board partitions, CMU partitions, manufactured casework and interior finishes. The project will also include mechanical and electrical renovations. The majority of new finishes will be resilient base and flooring, suspended acoustical ceilings and painting. Certain hi-bay vocational spaces in Building-M will be converted into classrooms and labs, and other spaces renovated to provide administrative offices. Other campus buildings will also receive interior renovations: Building-B will have certain existing spaces converted into a CADD Lab; certain existing spaces in Building-N will be renovated to accommodate the Esthetician program and other vocational programs; and Building-A will have a couple of existing classrooms that receive interior renovations. New doors and frames at certain locations will be required. Some masonry renovation along with CMU wall patching will be required. The project will also include the installation of specialized equipment related to the Health programs and other work indicated in the Contract Documents. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Supply of paint, surface preparation,
labor and paint coating of approximately 200 Fire Hydrants located throughout the water distribution system
The Work consists of replacing the existing 1200 Amp 120/208-3-60 Federal Pacific service entrance switchboard and two existing distribution panelboards with new. All existing feeder and branch circuits served by the existing switchboard and distribution panelboards are to be reworked and connected to the new replacement service entrance switchboards. Short circuit, coordination, and arc flash analysis studies of the existing electrical system being replaced are included.
The existing double egress metal doors are to be reworked and modified with panic hardware. An existing exterior metal single door to a previously used transformer room shall be reworked, painted, and new door hardware installed.
The existing 100 amp exterior lighting circuit shall be reworked as required and indicated on the drawings.
A power outage not to exceed three days, August 14, 15 and 16, 2017 for the facility shall be scheduled to change out the switchboard. All power outage scheduling to be determined and approved by Owner.
The existing food service refrigeration unit circuit shall be reworked prior to the scheduled power outage and connected to the existing emergency distribution system. Refrigeration shall remain energized during scheduled power outage.

The project consists of roof replacements and roof repairs as well as masonry repairs.
– Roof Replacements: Remove existing roof membrane system down to existing roof deck. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over new insulation system. Provide crickets and tapered insulation where indicated. Provide new metal components; e.g. metal counter flashings, coping caps, plumbing vent flashings, metal expansion joint, etc..
– Masonry Repairs: Limited re-pointing, caulking, cleaning and damp proofing.

The Division of Abandoned Mine Lands wishes to receive bids to perform reclamation work on approximately 9.25 acres of mine land in Knox County, Kentucky. The work will consist of earthwork, gradework, and revegetation of 2 bond forfeiture permit(s).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Consisting of the construction and/or furnishing of items plus incidentals necessary to
complete the work. The work entails modification of roadway intersection.
• 75,000 gallon elevated water storage tank: Complete removal of interior coating
system and recoat. Installation of mixing system. Installation of an electrically operated butterfly valve in an existing vault and associated telemetry.
The work will involve the demolition of an existing railing system, concrete surface, and a small building. New work will include the installation of a new railing system and concrete on the existing Upper Falls Viewing Area.
The work will involve the installation of a new, complete site water distribution system at Waveland State Historic Site in Fayette County, KY. The existing supply, form the adjacent University of Kentucky South Farm will be cut and capped on the farm property. The existing Waveland water system will be abandoned in place with the exception of the removal of an on-site fire hydrant.
Work includes providing all required material, labor and equipment to perform selective floor and wall preparation and flooring and wall systems installation as hereinafter described. The project is to be performed in Men’s and Women’s Shower Rooms in Building No. 3790 (Pool Side Shower House) located at the Kentucky Horse Park Camp Grounds. Plumbing improvements shall begin immediately upon execution of the Contract for Construction (March 2017) and must be completed on or before April 27, 2017. The remaining improvements shall commence on or about May 1, 2017 and shall be complete no later than May 25, 2017. Bidders shall fully evaluate the scope of work and satisfy themselves that each phase of the Shower House work will be fully completed and the space ready for use within the prescribed time frame prior to submitting their bid.
The scope of the project improvements includes floor and wall preparation at the shower and changing areas, including cleaning, etching existing tile and concrete masonry units. Associated flooring work includes stripping and preparation of tile floors in toilet and lavatory areas to receive floor & grout stains & sealers. In addition, work includes sanding and preparing existing concrete masonry walls, wood trim and drywall ceilings to receive new painting systems. Improvements include Installation of new epoxy resin flooring and wall systems at the shower areas, application of new floor stains and sealers, application of water-borne epoxy and enamel painting systems, and reinstallation of shower doors, benches, toilet and shower accessories removed to accommodate new work. Mechanical work includes modifications to the existing piping serving the showers within the shower rooms and installation of new cold water piping and wall mounted shower units at each shower location.
