PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Metro Parks and Recreation is requesting bids for the renovation of the existing parking and common
areas within AB Sawyer Park located at 9300 Whipps Mill Road, Louisville, KY. The project includes but is
not limited to: selective demolition of asphalt and concrete, new paving and concrete work, stormwater
structure installation, landscaping, and miscellaneous sitework.
Louisville Metro Government uses Bonfire portal for accepting and evaluating proposals digitally (https://louisvilleky.bonfirehub.com/portal)
. Bidders must submit all pages of bid document through Bonfire.
The project consists of roof replacements and roof repairs/overlays as well as Masonry repairs.
-Roof Replacements: Remove existing roof membrane system down to existing roof deck. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over new insulation system. Provide crickets and tapered edge where indicated. Provide new metal components; e.g. metal counter flashings, coping caps, plumbing vent flashings, metal expansion joint, etc.
-Roof Repairs/Overlays: Remove wet roofing as indicated, match existing. Attach recovery board over existing roof systems. Install 2-Ply SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing system over recovery board insulation. Provide new metal components; e.g. metal counter flashings, copings, plumbing vent flashings, metal expansion joint, etc.
-Masonry Repairs: Remove/repair damaged areas, re-install masonry, seal joints & damp proof.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project consists of installing approximately 2,300 feet of new roadway. stonn sewers, sanitary sewers, curb and gutter, water main, utility conduit, mass earth grading, retaining walls
and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete
project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This project consists of the construction of a new practice soccer filed and drill area. Included within the base bid scope of work is earthwork, storm drainage, irrigation, and sports turf sodding to create a sand cap practice field that matches the playing conditions of the existing
Soccer Competition field. Also include with the base bid is the installation of perimeter
fencing, concrete and asphalt paving, gravel pads for storage containers, a concrete
foundation for future observation tower, electrical/communication pathways for future lighting
and video systems, and grass sodding to restore the disturbed areas to their preexisting conditions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Work of the Project includes new construction of approximately 12,000 gsf and renovation of approximately 7,300 gsf for the shared use of Jessamine County Diesel Engine Career and Technology Center and the district Transportation Center located at 501 East Maple Street, Nicholasville, KY. The work shall be phased to allow Owner occupancy and operation during the normal 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. The Owner will occupy the existing building during the summer of 2017 and the new building during the summer of 2018. Refer to the Phasing Plan for a detailed description of the phasing requirements.
The project requires comprehensive renovation of the existing bus garage including modernization of two existing in-ground vehicle lifts, cutting and patching of existing concrete slab, excavation and backfill to accommodate installation of a new in-ground lift and complete removal of the existing second floor structure to accommodate a new vehicle work bay where transportation offices and upper level storage are now located. The renovation work also includes removal of existing roofing and installation of new asphalt shingle roofing, as well as replacement of existing sectional doors and hollow metal doors, frames hardware and new security access systems. Also included is complete removal and replacement of all plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems. Installation of a new 100% NFPA compliant fire suppression system is also required.
New construction includes work by all trades required for the renovation. The new building will provide classroom, lab, vehicle repair bays, tool storage, restrooms, and office space for the new Diesel Engine Career and Technology program. It will also provide new office, restroom and storage space for the Transportation Center. One new in-ground lift and one portable vehicle lift will be included in the new building. The structure of the new building shall be concrete slab on grade with spread concrete footing and foundation walls, brick veneer over load bearing concrete masonry exterior walls, concrete masonry interior partition walls, steel floor joists, wood roof trusses, asphalt shingles over wood decking. Interior finishes include polished concrete, epoxy floor paint coatings, acoustical ceiling panel systems, and gypsum partition and ceiling systems. Installation of a new 100% NFPA compliant fire suppression system is required. Plumbing work includes relocation of gas mains, new water service and new compressed air systems as specified on the plumbing drawings. New HVAC systems include variable refrigerant and infrared heating. Power, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems are also required.
The project also includes extensive site work including new site lighting, power for bus engine heaters, asphalt, concrete and crushed stone paving, excavation, fill and grading necessary to complete the new work. Utility work requires new service from public utilities including removal/replacement of utility connections to the Bradley Building.

The Project consists of

The work consists of replacing the existing electric domestic hot water (DHW) boiler. All demolition of the exiting electric DHW boiler and disposal shall be included. All piping, pressure relief vents, electrical work required shall be included. New concrete housekeeping pads shall be included. Removal of the existing exterior galvanized grating, pipe column and steel support beam in the transformer well outside the boiler room and reinstallation necessary for removal of the existing boiler and installation of the new shall be included. Boiler and electrical permits with final certificates are required. All work to meet requirements of Kentucky Department of Housing, Building and Code Department including Kentucky Boiler Code and all permitting and inspections and certificates required.
An alternate price for replacement of a similar boiler in the room shall be provided as a separate cost in the Form of Proposal.
