PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project scope: The WKU High Voltage Phase 10 Project consists of disconnecting one building from
the 4160 volt underground distribution system and reconnecting it to the 12,470 volt distribution system.
Demolition includes the removal of existing 5kv switches, reactors, and underground conductors. New
Underground conduit and 15kv conductors from an adjacent existing 15kv switch to Grise Hall is included
as is the installation of a new 750 KVA 12,470/4160 volt pad mount transformer, transformer is provided
by owner.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled with Mr. Johnson in the conference room of the Planning, Design & Construction Department in Parking Structure #1 on the
WKU campus Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST. Anyone wishing to submit a
bid must have representation at this meeting. Subcontractors are not required, but are
welcome.

Construction of a new sewer pump station, including wet well, pumps, guide rails, valve vault,

incidental and related work necessary for completion.
This project involves miscellaneous concrete repairs which includes, but it not limited to, concrete floor slab patching, overhead slab patching, concrete beam repairs and miscellaneous concrete repairs to concrete columns. The work will include masonry wall repairs, epoxy injection, traffic and elastomeric coatings, and joint sealants. Electrical work will include investigations, repairs and replacements of deteriorated conduits.
The Kentucky VA Cemetery West Columbarium Expansion is located at the existing Veterans Administration Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Kentucky at 5817 Ft. Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The work shall consist of the expansion of a Columbarium area that will consist of earthwork to establish the grades for the expansion area, construction of a plaza area for the new columbarium walls, construction of precast concrete columbarium walls including necessary foundations for 720 new columbarium niches, columbarium wall veneers, site furnishings, finish grading and turf establishment.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The work as defined in the construction documents includes specific exterior glazing replacement to the University of Kentucky – Baily Stumbo Building located in Hazard Kentucky,
directly adjacent to the Appalachian Regional Hospital (ARH). The building was constructed in
2002 and a number of the existing insulated glazing panels have lost their seals resulting in a
cloudy/fogged appearance with no insulating value. The work of this project is divided into two
parts and includes 1. Replacement of specifically identified insulated glazing panels installed in
aluminum storefront framing with new insulated glazing panels. 2. Water spray testing to determine the location of two water leaks, one located in the East Stair Tower and one located in the West Stair Tower. Upon determining the source of the water leaks it will be required to
remove the existing insulated glazing panels located in the curtainwall fram ing system and
provide new gaskets and sealants as required to rectify all leaks. Existing insulated glazing
panels to then be reinstalled. A total of (6) glazing panels to be included in the base bid pricing with a unit price identified below in the event additional glazing panels will need to be repaired due to the water spray test results.

This project consists of the providing of all materials, labor, and equipment for the construction of:
A pressure sewer system including a possible 14,000 LF of HDPE collector sewers, 30,700 LF of HDPE service
line, 114 simplex residential grinder pump stations, and one conventional submersible pump station complete with
odor control system.
The project consists of renovation and repair of an existing 9,700 +/- sq. ft. storage facility (aka Pickle Building) for WKCTC. Work includes, but is not limited to, exterior masonry repair, closing window & door openings, selective demolition, new metal roof and wall panels, doors, painting and limited interior work. Site work includes brush removal and new asphalt parking for overflow parking for WKCTC Paducah School for Art and Design buildings at 919 Madison Street.
The Leestown Campus of Bluegrass Community & Technical College seeks improvements to the vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns on campus in order to create better and safer circulation paths while enhancing the student experience. A central road will be closed that currently traverses through the center of campus and a pedestrian plaza created that serves to tie the various buildings together. Vehicular pathways will be improved by adding entry/exit points from campus to the public street and through the insertion of planting islands and traffic control devices. A primary vehicle loop will be created to provide a drop-off point and limited visitor and accessible parking spaces. The specific scope of work will include demolition, earthwork, storm drainage, concrete and asphalt pavements, masonry seat walls, site furnishings and landscaping.
The primary scope of work includes removal and replacement of existing metal storefront, selected metal doors and door frames, and aluminum windows, window blinds, brackets, anchors and retainers at all window locations. Existing metal storefront and doors include welded metal frames and flush panel doors with louvers and glazing. Existing window installations include individual punched openings with awning and/or hopper type windows set in masonry walls. Doors, frames and lintels over all window and door openings are to be sanded, primed and repainted.
New windows and storefront to be installed are blast resistant, thermally broken aluminum assemblies with low “E” laminated glazing. All returns around windows and doors are to be cleaned of all caulk and made ready to receive new caulking. At new doors and frames other than storefront are to be galvanized steel. Doors are to have insulated core. All metal frames are to be welded and slushed solid. Door hardware shall be as described in the Project Manual.

The project consists of replacing the culvert at the intersection of Ross Street and 2nd Street in the
