Louisville Metro Government is currently accepting bids for IFB180192 Hill Street Sidewalk
Rehab per the attached specifications. This project will provide rehabilitation of a sidewalk along Hill Street between 6th and 7th Streets (enhancements that restores a sidewalk connection and ADA improvements) in Louisville. At the present time, the Hill Street underpass below the CSX railroad is closed to pedestrians on the south side, requiring pedestrians to enter a two lane roadway without shoulders for access. The purpose of this project is to provide pedestrian accessibility and safety through the underpass.
The project consists of the repair and replacement of interior finishes and fixtures to restore portions of the facility (as noted in the construction documents) to match their condition prior to water damage.
One alternate is requested: the installation of a pair of Bullet Resistant Doors with associated framing, drywall, security controls and hardware.

The specifications and drawings describe the work to be done and the material to be provided for installing one Owner furnished air-cooled water chiller for KCTCS Hopkinsville Community College Administration Building, Hopkinsville, KY 42240. In general, the project includes the removal of a split indoor chiller tube barrel and air-cooled condenser; installation of an air-cooled chiller with underground chilled water piping; new lead/standby pumps and all associated piping and electrical work. The new automatic temperature controls shall connect to the existing frontend controls system.
The project consists of complete tear off, of existing insulation, membrane and metal components. Clean existing deck of dirt and debris. Install roof insulation and 2-ply SBS modified membrane as per manufacturer’s requirements. Provide crickets where indicated. Provide new metal components; e.g. metal counter flashings, roof drain leads, plumbing vent flashings, etc. Masonry Repairs, cleaning and sealing to occur as noted.
