IF THE ENGINEER’S CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE IS $50,000 OR MORE, the Minority Business Enterprise and Woman Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation goals shall be applicable to all contracts and comply with MSD’s Interim Supplier Diversity Policy and Guidelines (Interim Policy). The Interim Policy is considered as one of the elements of responsiveness in a bid. Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for the furnishing of equipment, tools, material, and labor to perform repair work and capital improvement work on LWC’s transmission system on an as-needed basis. Internal Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (CFRP)
repairs and/or improvement work shall include, but not be limited to, repairs or improvements to large diameter cast iron, ductile iron, steel, and/or prestressed concrete pipe (30-inch to 78-inch).

Master Agreement when the assignment/project plus LWC supplied materials is fairly estimated by LWC to cost more than $250,000.

Pressure regulators w/dirt leg will be added to all existing compressed air drops. An eye wash station will be added to the welding lab. A hose bib will be added to the PCR room. Electrical transformers and panels will be added to serve new loads in the welding lab as well as through the Technology Wing. A cam-lock fitting will be added to the exterior fire protection drain down outlet. A 30’ hose will be provided to divert the water away from the building.
