Replace aging Mechanical Systems of the London Readiness Center in London, Kentucky, along with a full lighting, ceiling grid and pad replacement, a renovation of the restroom facilities, and a renovation to include a Nursing Room to comply with UFC 4-171-05. Demo existing restroom facilities and associated MEP systems, and replace with new fixtures and systems as indicated in the contract documents.
The goal of this project is to provide a resinous floor in the warehouse areas of the USPFO Building at the Boone National Guard Center. Additional scope of work includes the removal of empty shelving prior to prep and installation of the floor. After installation of the floor new shelving will be reinstalled by the contractor. Walls in the open area of the warehouse shall receive wall paint and dryfall ceiling paint.
The project consists of interior renovations to multiple rooms, with a total of 10,050 sf. The renovations are for improvements to install new equipment for student training. Work includes new lay-in ceilings, carpet, painting, rework of electrical for new equipment, conduit pathways for network cable, replacement of compressed air system, and HVAC improvements.
The scope of this project is to repair, upgrade and modernize the heating, cooling and ventilation systems at the Cabinet for Human Resources building in Frankfort. The overall system design shall remain intact with sub-assembly replacements such as coils, valves, piping, fans and drives. All air terminal units throughout the building shall be replaced. This project will include various mechanical replacements, electrical upgrades as well as associated controls upgrades and programming. The controls system shall be totally renovated and move to a system that is entirely electronic without the need of any type of pneumatic or electric to pneumatic conversion.

different trades for the construction work associated with the new pool project.
The project is for improvements around an existing pond. Project scope includes some
limited demolition, tree protection, as well as clearing of existing landscape material.
New construction includes crushed stone trails, boardwalk / deck overlook, limited site
signage, installation of new pond fountain, new native stone edging around the
perimeter of the pond, installation of new landscape plantings including trees, shrubs,
perennials and plugs to naturalize the pond perimeter.
Description and location of Project: This unit base construction order is for the pipe, and paved ditch along the open space behind Sandness Court, in Metro Council District 19.
The project is an addition to the existing Range Operations Center at the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center in Greenville, KY. The addition is 3,950 square feet in size. The structural system consists of poured in place concrete shallow foundations and stem walls and concrete slab on grade. Exterior walls are insulated concrete forms with cast in place concrete. Exterior wall finishes are a combination of pre-finished metal panels and anchored stone veneer. Roof structure is cold formed metal framing and trusses with steel deck, roof will be pre-finished metal roof panels over rigid insulation board with a nailable surface. Interior layout consists of a reception/customer service area, offices, meeting room, break room, storage, mechanical and toilets. Interior partitions will be light gauge steel framing with gypsum board surfaces and sound batt insulation. Floor finish will be sealed, colored concrete. Doors and frames will be hollow metal, windows are aluminum and ceilings are suspended acoustic panels. There will be minor demolition and patching of the existing facility walls to provide connections to the addition. Site work consists of grading, storm water structures and pipe, sidewalks and a flagpole. Water service shall connect to existing main at street, sanitary will gravity flow to existing sanitary main adjacent to building, and natural gas piping will be extended from existing natural gas utility meter. The building will utilize natural gas for heat. HVAC will consist of furnaces and condensing units, and ceiling cassettes with outdoor condensing unit. Electrical work includes modifications to existing 208V/3 phase service and a new 208V/120V panel for the power distribution system. Interior and exterior lighting will be LED. Communications systems will include telephone and data wiring and devices. A natural gas emergency generator will be installed.
The Elizabethtown Community & Technical College seeks improvements to their existing campus signage and wayfinding. Replacement of existing entrance signage and installation of new/additional signage with updated college logos will appropriately designate each entrance on to campus. New directional signage will be installed to help with vehicular navigations around the campus. New building identification signage will also be added to clearly delineate each building on campus. Additionally, new pedestrian way finding kiosks with campus maps will be strategically located around the site to help new and potential students and visitors navigate the campus.

A. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of, but not limited to, the following Phase 2 AMIT site clearing and new construction work:
1. Demolition of existing 746 South First Street, JCTC office/storage building concrete first floor slab, loading dock, partial basement, foundations and footings.
2. Demolition of existing billboard foundations adjacent to the 746 South First Street structure complete.
3. Site clearing including but not limited to asphalt parking lots and drives, concrete parking lots and drives, public sidewalks and curbs, existing foundations, overhead utilities and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.

6. Phase 2 AMIT General Contractor to assume possession and responsibility for upkeep of construction fencing that was originally installed by the Phase 1 Demolition Contractor. Traffic control devices currently installed are the responsibility of the Phase 1.5 Traffic Control Contractor for the duration of the Phase 2 AMIT construction.

Contractor to furnish and install a complete electrical system that will provide 300 emergency
power panel in room HA619 on the 6th Floor of Pavilion HA in Chandler Medical Center. The
panel will be fed from the first floor room HA0199.
This project will replace a poorly functioning lift station and appurtenances at/near the I-64 Rest Area in Woodford County, Kentucky.
The project will construct a short length (less than 30’) of 8″ gravity sewer for the new inlet to the lift station. As shown on the plans, discovery of where this existing 8″ line bends is the Contractors responsibility. The Contractor shall provide underground power to the station as indicated from an existing disconnect. The Contractor shall construct a new discharge line as indicated on the plans including all necessary fittings and line markers. When appropriate, the Contractor shall demolish and remove the existing Lift Station. The Contractor shall install a new combination air valve in the approximate location shown on the plans. Discovery in the field of the existing force main shall be accomplished by the Contractor after consultation w/ appropriate KYTC officials (see KYTC Contacts on Sht. C02 of Plans). The Contractor shall ensure that this air valve is installed at the local high point in the force main. All surveying on the job is the Contractors responsibility.
The project shall be constructed wholly within KYTC rights of way as indicated.

The proposed project consists of a coal seam fire reclamation in Pike County. The project area is located on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) 7.5’ Pikeville quadrangle (see the attached project and site maps).
The Tim Malone Seam Fire Site consists of covering up the coal seam fire using on-site material. The site is located off Melvina Drive on Chloe Creek, near the community of Pikeville, KY. The project area is centrally located at N 37° 28’ 48.36”, W 82° 30’ 7.44”. To reach the site from the Prestonsburg Regional Field office, travel to Pikeville on US 23 South, take exit ramp onto KY-1384 toward downtown Pikeville, turn right onto KY-1426 (Lower Chloe Creek) for 0.8 miles, turn left across a concrete bridge onto Melvina Drive, last house in the hollow is Mr. Malone’s.
The Chris Johnson Seam Fire Site consists of covering up the coal seam fire using on-site material. There are exposed auger holes on an upper bench that is not on fire that will be backfilled. The site is located near the community of Pikeville, KY. The project area is centrally located at N 37° 29’ 6.9”, W 82° 30’ 8.2”. To reach the site from the Prestonsburg Regional Field office, travel to Pikeville on US 23 South, take exit ramp onto KY-1384 toward downtown Pikeville 0.6 miles, turn left onto KY-1426 for approximately 0.5 miles past shopping center, turn right for 0.1 miles to a locked gate on your left. Mr. Johnson lives in a trailer across from the gate access entrance.
Entry to the work areas will be accessed by the county road. Reclamation work consist of covering the seam fire using smothering methods to minimize the fire. When necessary water and/or foam will be pumped to quenching the burning material. There is an existing access road that will be used and maintained with roadway stone. A section of road will have to be constructed from the Chris Johnson site to the Tim Malone site. The waste material generated during project work shall be used on site in the smothering and grading portions of the project boundaries.
During the process of these construction activities, trees over 3 inches in diameter at breast height will have to be removed in the AML problem area. A sediment and erosion control program, consisting of such measures as constructing hay bales/silt fence to be maintained throughout the life of the project and prompt re-vegetation using agricultural limestone, fertilizer, seed, and mulch will be implemented on all areas disturbed by this project.

The Stephen McKinney site is located at 1402 Branhams Creek, Grethel, KY 41631 in Floyd County, KY at coordinates N 37° 28′ 40.90”, W 82° 38′ 39.60”. A portion of the bench on which the house sits has slid down toward Branhams Creek. This has made access to the other structures on the property potentially hazardous and could cause those structures to be lost if it continues to slide. Also, the material (trees, soil, debris, etc.) that is sliding could block the creek and cause flooding, including causing damage to the bridge used to access the McKinney property. The site was first inspected on 2/27/2018 and was referred to the AML design branch.
To address these concerns, the slide material will be excavated until a solid rock bench can be located. The material will be stockpiled on the bench for later use, and 120 L.F. of 21’ long W8x40 steel beams 6’ O.C. will be driven 10’ into the rock bench with sheet steel lagging between them. The soil will then be placed back behind the beams in compacted 1’ lifts with high strength uniaxial geogrid placed every 2’. Further details on this are shown in the plans. Some slide material and debris will be excavated from the area by reaching across Branhams Creek from the opposite bank. A rock silt check will be placed in the stream to mitigate issues from material entering the creek.
Additionally, several ditches and drains will be used to keep water off the slide area. A 280’ long, 1’ deep ECB ditch will be installed at the top of the hill behind the house, and two 1’ deep combination ECB ditch-drains will be installed directly behind the house (265’ long) and behind the storage structure on top of the slide (130’ long). The locations for these ditches/drains are listed on the plans. All three ditches will meet and be combined in a junction box with a steel grate which will outlet into an 18” HDPE pipe. The pipe will then outlet into an existing excavated rock ditch that runs down the hillside into the creek.
The contractor shall provide access to the site by either:
a) Installing a low water crossing (AML 50-10-7) on the downstream side of the existing bridge, or
b) Cribbing the bridge in the center and providing protective measures to the deck with steel plates or wooden runners.
If a low water crossing is chosen as the preferred method, a floodplain permit, which has already been obtained by AML, will be required. Other access to the site will be via the existing driveway and through the yard.
The waste areas for the project are located on either side of the McKinney driveway and are marked on the plans. Both waste areas may require tree removal, as may the slide area.
