Description and location of Project: This Contract provides for the installation of approximately 843 linear feet of 24- inch gravity sanitary sewer which replaces existing 18-inch gravity sanitary sewer, installation of approximately 4,360 linear feet of 24-inch gravity sanitary sewer, installation of approximately 60 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sanitary sewer, installation of approximately 235 linear feet of 4-inch property service connection sewer lines, installation of eighteen (18) 4-foot diameter watertight sanitary manholes, replacement of one existing manhole with (1) 7-foot diameter watertight sanitary manhole, removing and replacing six (6) 4-foot diameter watertight sanitary manholes, installation of approximately 65 linear feet of 48-inch steel road bore and casing, seven (7) stream crossings, including all erosion control, stream bank restoration, and appurtenant work as described in the plans and bid proposal. The project site is located in southeast Jefferson County along Mud Creek.
Description and location of Project: Construction of associated CSO diversion structures, conveyance piping, site work and related facilities. This project is generally located near the intersection of Lexington Road and Grinstead Drive.
The Work consists of a 3-Phased renovation + new construction project. Phase 1 involves renovating the existing 1st floor canteen into a temporary lobby. Phase 2 involves the partial renovations of floors 1 and 2 with a 2-story addition and exterior employee entrance area. Phase 3 is a further renovation of the temporary lobby and main elevator lobby on the 1st floor.
Renovations include demolition, floor stabilization, new hard-wall construction, and new finishes. This work will be coordinated with the installation of the open office furniture package to be procured later in 2019.

The surrounding buildings and site will be occupied in all phases of construction work. The contractor shall
be required to coordinate the contract work with daily school activities.

required to coordinate the contract work with daily school activities.

There will be two contracts for the related work, Contract A, and Contract B. The work for Contract A will consist of
approximately 3.0 miles of 8” polyethylene and 6” steel gas lines, gas tie-in and site, directional drilling, a reservoir,
blowdowns, valves, and various other related items; Contract B will consist of approximately 3.1 miles of 8” polyethylene and
6” steel gas lines, directional drilling, a reservoir, blowdowns, valves, and various other related items.
This project includes work on the Governor’s Mansion listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Work must adhere to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Reconstruction of Historic Structures. The General Contractor shall have 15 years’ experience working on buildings listed on the National Register.
A lump sum proposal shall be submitted for the work indicated, including Allowances specified. Unit prices are being requested for more or less work.
The work shall consist of removal of existing wood shake shingle roofing and replacements with new 16 oz. standing seam copper roofing. Work shall include re-working existing sheet metal flashing, new vented ridge cap, new soffit vents and attic access hatch from the second floor.
This project includes the design and construction of a playground for the Kentucky School for the Deaf. The playground is to include accessible play structures and other play features that encourage an inclusive play environment. The playground will be surfaced with safety surfaces including a pour in place system to allow for children of all physical abilities to move throughout the playground. This new playground is designed to provide dedicated play space for the Kentucky School for the population. By providing the school with an inclusive play environment, the School will be able to encourage greater interaction between students with different physical abilities, encourage group play and problem solving, and provide a fun safe location for children to play. The proposed site is located between the existing Kerr Hall and Thomas Gym. The new playground is designed to be open, allowing faculty and children to see across the playground and interact with other hearing-impaired individuals. The site gently slopes to the south towards existing storm infrastructure. Minimal grading will be required to install the playground and safety surface system.
The Project consists of a complete tear off of existing gravel surfaced 4-ply built up roof and installation of a new SBS Bituminous Membrane roof system including insulation.

The Work consists of a fit up of the Harris Ballroom within the third floor of the historic 1938
Student Center. The fit-up area is approximately 17,000 gross square feet within the finished
Student Center. With the exception of the fit-up area, the building is fully occupied and will
remain in use by the University. The work includes fit up of a ballroom, warming kitchen,
prefunction mezzanine with art gallery, restrooms, IT/AV, and storage areas. New finishes
include gypsum board, ceiling panels, fabric wall panels, ceramic tile, and epoxy flooring. No
site work is anticipated. Minimal roof penetrations may be required. Air handlers serving this
space have been installed under a previous project, but new ductwork is required. This
project does not require LEED certification. A commissioning agent will be engaged by the
owner to commission the HVAC systems. Other Work is indicated in the Contract Documents.

The project includes the construction of a new Electrical/Generator Building that will house three (3) 2,500 kW diesel engine driven
generators, 15 kV switchgear, three (3) 12,000-gallon above ground fuel tanks, and appurtenances including double wall fuel piping,
leak detection/monitoring system, controls, HVAC, plumbing, instrumentation/controls, wire, conduit, and other miscellaneous
electrical items as well as a new access road. This work includes all necessary structural, architectural, process mechanical, and
electrical work, site work, and all other services required to complete the work.
Remove the existing light fixtures in the Capitol Parking Garage Structure. New lights will consists of energy efficient LED fixtures with integral controls.

The project scope includes stormwater repair and general facility improvements
to the existing Anderson County Soccer facility. The facility is located on the northeastern corner of
the Anderson County High School campus. Work will be limited to stormwater structure and piping
improvements, grading, and reseeding of the soccer field and adjacent drainage areas.
This project involves removing Grow Hall, the primary food service facility on the campus, from the central steam heating system and replacing steam service with an independent heat source. The heating in the building is currently provided from two steam convertors and a steam duct coil, which shall be demolished, along with two hydronic heating pumps and a condensate return unit. They will be replaced by one new high-efficiency, condensing, natural gas, hot water boiler, with onboard controls, one new hot water heating coil and three new pumps, with all required accessories. Existing gas line will be demolished, and a new, larger gas line will be run from an existing regulator on the outside wall to the new boiler with existing branches re-welded to the new main. Condensing boiler exhaust vent and combustion air lines will be run to an outside wall.

The scope of work includes fitting up approximately 4,300 square feet of unfinished shell space,
within the existing Community Action Council building at 1169 Winburn Drive, Lexington,
Kentucky. In general the project includes removal of the existing windows and hollow metal doors,
cutting and patching existing concrete floor slab to accommodate new plumbing, patching of
existing separation walls and reinstallation of existing wall and roof insulation where sagging or
removed. New construction includes the complete construction of 3-classrooms, student toilet
rooms, office, public restroom, lactation room and storage. Construction generally consist of
installation of gypsum board and metal stud partitions, installation of new doors, frames and
hardware, new fixed view windows, installation of new acoustic tile, floor tile and LVT flooring. All
spaces will be served by new mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures. Refer to Contract
