Description and location of Project: This unit based construction order is for a 48-inch storm sewer installation, with solid rock removal along the rear easement behind homes along Cedar Garden Drive in Metro Council District 22.
All work shall be done in accordance to MSD’s Standard Specifications.
There will be no pre-bid meeting held for this project.
The Engineer’s Construction Cost Estimate for this project is between $275,000.00 to $350,000.00.

Contract Specifications
Approximately 6,300 LF of 6-inch, 6,200 LF of 4-inch and 1,000 LF of 2-inch waterlines
with 2,300 LF of 8″ & 6″ HDPE directionally drilled creek/river crossings and other
appurtenances, CXS Railroad crossing and 32 water service connections.
Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids for supply and installation of 780+/- linear feet of 8-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile
iron water main, 685 +/- linear feet of 6-inch Pressure Class 350 ductile iron water main, 1,980+/- linear feet of 6-inch DR-18 C900
PVC water main and 830 +/- linear feet of 4-inch DR-18 C900 PVC water main. Also included with the project is the supply and
installation of 3 fire hydrants, and the supply and transfer, renewal, relocation or discontinue of 69 +/- customer services. Contractor
shall supply and install all materials required for the completion of this project.

Award of the Contract will be based on base bid pricing and is at the Company’s sole discretion. Alternate bid(s) may or may not be
