Major Work items in this Contract include:
Installing pump stations, valve vault, and force main.

Contractor shall coordinate with local utility company for installation of electrical service drops. Contractor shall be responsible for providing all electrical connections from the utility company service drop as specified and as shown on the Drawings. The Contractor shall be responsible for all fees and inspections related to the electrical portion of this project.

Contractor shall be responsible for meeting all utility company requirements for connection and providing all equipment or other apparatus necessary for connections. Project Field Office: The Contractor shall provide accommodations in the Contractor’s field office trailer for use by the Owner and Engineer throughout the duration of the project.

The work includes the construction of two (2) new artificial turf fields within the existing running tracks at
both High Schools. This scope of work for the construction project includes, but not limited to, the
underground improvements for the new turf fields, excavation of existing soils, grading, underground
drainage systems, fill materials, regrading of spoils on-site, relocation of a scoreboard, new flagpole and
installing empty electrical conduit. The Artificial turf field system and its installation will be purchased off
the State Term Contract by the District from The Motz Group. The contractor shall be required to
coordinate the contract work with the Turf Field System supplier/installer and any daily school activities.

This project consists of installing steam and chilled water lines across the Avenue of
Champions located on the campus of the University of Kentucky. All existing utility lines have
been identified as accurately as possible using available information but should be considered
approximations. The successful contractor is responsible for locating all existing underground
utilities prior to excavating. Should existing utilities require relocation or rerouting, owner should
be contacted for approval, coordination and implementation. If any charted, uncharted or mislocated
utility service is interrupted for any reason, the contractor will work continuously to
restore service to satisfaction of the owner.
The work includes the construction and renovation of two buildings. A new, 28,000 square foot two story, Response Forces (RF) Building will house the 123rd Airlift Wing (AW) and requires properly sized and configured facilities, which includes Security Forces Squadron (SFS), Force Support Squadron (FSS), the Emergency Medical Consequence Management (EMEDS-CM)ADMIN, and the Contingency Response Group (CRG). in addition to the space requirements above this building will have a main entry vestibule, secured access, two stair wells, an elevator, locker rooms (on both floors) an arms vault, and warehouse/storage space. In addition, the 123 AW will need to alter/renovate the SVS/FSRT administration space (4,211 square feet) and the base dining facility (1532 square feet) which are currently located in Building 100 which is immediately adjacent to the new Response Forces Facility.
The supporting elements for this project for both facilities include: Utilities, Site Improvements, Pavement, Communications Support, Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Measures. These facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building Requirements. The facility shall be compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base standards.

Mt. Sterling Water and Sewer (Mt. Sterling) is accepting bids to repair a soil slide near the
Howard’s Mill Water Treatment Plant (Mt. Sterling) along Slate Creek. This project consists of
soil remediation, installation of gabion baskets, replacement of a head wall, reconstruction of a
decantdrain, etc.
The project will include renovations/replacement to elevator equipment at the Jefferson Davis Memorial in Fairview, KY, including but not limited to replacement of the elevator controller, motor, hoisting machine, and associated wiring and connections to the existing car. Structural steel framing will be added to support an elevated slab and miscellaneous steel supports will support elevator equipment. New electrical work to support the elevator renovations and temporary removal/reinstallation of mechanical HVAC split-systems that serve the elevator machine room space is also included in the project.

This request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by University of Kentucky to select an offeror and product
for the renovation of Elevators #14 and 15 to support the Chandler Medical Center Main Hospital
and Critical Care Center located in Lexington, KY. This is a full renovation of the elevators as
described in the drawings and specifications provided. The offeror is responsible for providing the
University of Kentucky with a complete turnkey solution.
The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, permit, bonds, and
supervision, and anything else required to complete the projects. The University reserves the right to
furnish materials, supplies, and/or equipment when evaluated to be in the best interest of the
University. It is the intent of this bid to establish a minimum of three (3) contracts which will provide for
everything required to perform work and related services as needed by WKU. There shall be no
guarantee of any quantities of work, only what shall be needed.

Project to renovate the existing UK Hospital PAV A Retail Pharmacy. Project will be multiple
phases and will consist of a total fit up a current shell space, repurposing an existing space
and modifying the front of the Pharmacy to better fit its needs. Trades included will consist of
finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, etc. as per design and specification
documents. Project to be completed in coordination with UK Facilities and Project Managers
as well as any UK system(s) to be integrated.
The project is to fill the existing turf Lot C at the Kentucky Exposition Center, to level the lot out for event use. There is an existing borrow site near Lot C to be used for fill material. The borrow site material is composed primarily of spoils from roadway and utility projects, with some minor rock and concrete material that may also be used as fill. The Owner will provide a Geotechnical Testing Agency to review material; however, the majority of the lot will be turf and it is anticipated that all material in the borrow site will be useable for this purpose.
The project scope includes site clearing and minor demolition, erosion control, storm drainage work, earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete paving, sod and hydroseeding.
